HP Slash lines sought - 2 dark/chanish, 1 romantic
Once again I find myself seeking one or several strong writing partners. Does anyone still even write in the HP fandom anymore?
About me:
I'm a 40-something, happily married heterosexual female. I am not looking for any kind of 'real life' relationship or association beyond a writing collaboration. I have kids, friends, family, work, etc., and while I hope I am friendly and easy to communicate with in regards to writing things, I do not want to bring new emotional drama into my life. This means I am not very 'chatty' about things outside the line, though I will tell you if I'm going to be busy/unavailable for writing for a period of time, etc.
I am a long-term, plotty sort of writer, even in my smut. I do not AIM or other chat programs, ever. I am willing to thread here in IJ, over email, or in Google Docs.
I like down-and-dirty smutty scenes with good descriptions. I will never feed you one-liners. I am creative and flexible, able and willing to write tops or bottoms and a wide variety of hard core stuff.
I do not write or participate in mPreg, permanent body mutilation (though milder BDSM is well within my kinks), or playing in or with excrement. I like to discuss comfort-level boundaries a little before sinking into a line to make sure we are on the same page.
About you - the ideal writing partner will be:
You are at a stable place in your life - no huge impending life-changes looming on the horizon such as term papers, finals, marriage, break-ups, enormous job changes, birth of a child, etc., etc., You have a strong grasp of the written language and enjoy writing for the sake of writing. You are able to commit to a long-term writing association and do not 'flake' without gracefully bowing out and informing me that you are 'done' with the line.
You are available to reply to tags at least several times per week, prefer daily, with occasional time for more frequent 'volleys' and with the understanding that no one is online and available 24/7.
You are creative and enjoy being actively involved in plotting and know how to truly delve into your character's personality. You do not write in 'one liners'.
You are mentally and emotionally stable. (Yes, experience tells me I do have to specify that.)
If you think you and I might be a good fit of writing styles and needs, then here are the lines I am particularly looking to write just now:
How I write Lucius:
This would be set in a slightly alternate universe in that it would be post-Voldemort's final demise, but Lucius restored to his former wealth and relatively restored in prestige. Because of his great wealth, some of the poorer wizarding families sometimes come to Lucius for 'financial aid'.
Lucius is something of a loan shark.
When families can't repay their financial obligations, Lucius is willing to 'forgive' their debts if they provide him a suitable service in compensation. He usually takes this service in the form of a magically binding contract granting him the indentured servitude of a young male child of the family for the period of a year and a day.
Age range of this pet would be not younger than 14, not older than 17. Reluctant/unwilling consent slowly turning to a Stockholm Syndrome situation is preferred. Elements of moderate to heavy BDSM with magical healing because Lucius will guarantee the physical health of the pet upon his return to his family. No knives, no cutting, no piercing, no scarring, but definite pain, sexual torment, orgasm denial, object insertion and creative use of magic with sex toys, frequent re-healing of 'virgin-tight' status, etc.
The boy would live at Malfoy Manor - Narcissa knows and doesn't care, has her own similar slaves, etc.
You can pick any canon or original wizarding character to be Lucius's newest 'pet'.
How I write Walden:
Walden is a sexual predator who targets Muggles. He likes to find his teenaged toys in situations of extreme isolation and innocence. A sheltered only child or an orphan raised in a strict religious institution, for example. Bonus if the boy has been taught that masturbation is naughty or dirty and so has rarely if ever done so. Age range is not younger than 14, not older than 16. Walden stalks his potential victims for a considerable time to ensure they suit his tastes. He goes only for the very beautiful, waif-like adolescents. He uses magic on the legal guardians so that they think the boy is away for legitimate reason - school trip, visiting relations, etc., so there is no outcry when the lad goes missing for a few days or weeks, and then whisks his prize away to use and abuse until he grows bored.
Not a 'snuff' line - he obliviates their memories of their interlude and returns the lad to his family so as not to risk getting caught by the Ministry for Magic.
This would be a shorter-duration line than the Malfoy one, but still might take several weeks or months of real-time depending on the meshing of our writing schedules. Even though this is darker/rougher than the Malfoy line, there still wouldn't be any cutting/maiming involved - though definitely heavier on the non-consent rather than reluctant-consent.
Again, develop your victim however suits you and we'll see where it goes.
Snupin
I have several ideas of where we might go with this and would like to just have a discussion. I have a few plotlines that were completely abandoned by a co-writer that I would like to take out and dust off and start afresh, including one slightly amok-time-twisty one that promised to be great fun. I would write Snape. This would eventually (hopefully) lead to smutty goodness of a more romantic nature. Please be able and willing to write smexing when it gets to that point.
Please have a strong grasp of Remus's character and what it means to be a werewolf with all it's trials and tribulations - and benefits.
No mPreg and absolutely, positively no 'puppy love' between Lupin and Sirius, even in backstory. It is my one true, hard-and-fast 'squick' that would kill the line for me.
