I'm wondering if you could help me out with a line (or a couple, actually).
I'm looking for a slash line as follows: A young man [PB: James Spader circa 1985 (Pretty In Pink)-1988 (Sex Lies and Videotape) ] is becoming famous quickly. He is either a musician or an actor, but he is known for his rude, rough and tumble, uninhibited stage and off-stage persona. He is a deeply troubled young man, into drugs, sex and almost any vice a person could imagine. He is introduced to a sociology (or psychology) professor (an older man, highly intelligent) who intends to write a thesis on him and his influence on youth. In the course of their rocky interaction, the professor falls wants him very much, and the star sees a source of easily manipulated, unconditional love. Abuse, tension and tragedy follows. How far with the professor let himself be pushed? Will the star allow the man to love him and will he be able to love him back? I would like for this to take place during the 60's or 70's.
A girl (I would play her, the character would be PB'd by Melanie Laurent) is a staunch feminist. She is rebelling against the way her family raised her and her past, finding security and safety in asserting herself and living largely in the lesbian community. Your character is a man who has been quietly in the BDSM community for years. He is a dom and owns a strip club, where he doesn't allude to his sexual leanings at all. A fateful fall when she's riding her motorcycle brings them together and he is inexplicably drawn to the idea of changing and molding this girl into what he sees as perfection... and that is not to say that he would like to change her for the better.
If you're interested, please leave your AIM in the screened comments. I am dealing with an extremely erratic schedule and have to say that playing over AIM would be best for me. I don't sacrifice quality just because it's AIM, though. Thank you!
