Currently seeking some lighthearted superheroic hetero one-shots/short-term lines over E-mail. (All OOC info can be found in my journal, and if interested, contact me there.)
I'm looking for some lighthearted superhero lines. Cheesy puns, larger-than-like mechas, copious use of superpowers, bright costumes and codenames, banter and snark, semi-lengthy villainous monologues (and the heroic critiquing of them), meet and greets between newcoming capes and villains, official supervillain organizations, dealing with mooks, erotic use of superpowers during sex…you all, all that kind of over-the-top silly stuff. (In terms of feel and mood, think Batman: The Brave and the Bold, not Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.)
I’d also be interested in exploring the idea of a male Non-Action Guy/Badass Bookworm in a relationship with a strong, tough and well-detailed Action Girl/Dark Action Girl. (Think a relationship dynamic much like DC Comics couple Mr. Miracle and Big Barda, or Krillin and Android 18 from Dragon Ball Z; I like the idea of them being very different personality-wise, but still being able to have fluffy moments and kinda grow with--and learn from--one another.) I'll pass on scenarios wherein the woman’s a brutal/psychotic man-hating super bitch, or in roleplaying flat-out toxic/abusive relationships.
Character-wise, I'd love to find someone able and willing to play as one of the below ladies--all of course being played at least 21 years old--opposite a male OC (I have a fair number of heroes and villains), or at least use one as an inspiration/Expy:
Korra from Legend of Korra (the whole "Avatar" thing could be a superheroic/spiritual legacy easily)
Katara, Suki, or Ty Lee from Avatar the Last Airbender
Lois Lane from Superman the Animated Series (especially interested in playing an original character opposite a superpowered version of her)
Power Girl or Supergirl from DC Comics
Chloe Sullivan from Smallville
An AU!Android 18 or Fasha/Seripa from Dragon Ball Z
Sailor Mars/Venus, Wicked Lady, or Mimette from Sailor Moon
I'd love to do one of the following lines, whether as a one-shot or a decent jumping-off point for something longer-term, and I'm open to ideas of yours as well. (Where listed, Person A = Action Girl, Person B = Non-Action Guy/Badass Bookworm.)
A relationship between a hero and villain where they know each other's secret identity, yet have a largely harmonious (if very odd) relationship out of the costumes.
Thinking they are in a rut in their relationship, a superhero(ine) and their nemesis trade places for a day to see how the "other half" lives, or...well, in the bedroom.
Wanting to have some intimate time together and share some interests, Person A decides to introduce Person B to her fighting style and have him be her sparring partner.
Person A tries to sneak into Person B’s shower, but fails miserably because Person B likes ice cold showers.
Person B is a doctor/healer, and Person A constantly fakes injuries so they can see B. (Bonus points if they eventually end up making out in the office.)
The Kidnapping: When one dates a superheroine, getting some quality time together can be challenging between day jobs, professional obligations and whatever super-villain comes knocking at the door. More than one romantic dinner, date or intimate evening has been put on hold or blocked due to the Superhero Call of Duty. It gets to the point that you see your beau on TV or in print more than you see her in person. Moreover, the workload is getting so large that she's become short-tempered and even a bit sloppy. Considering her responsibilities, being sloppy can have serious or even tragic consequences at the wrong time. So for all of these reasons and more, taking a page from the super-villain manual, you decide to go old-school and attempt a good ol' fashioned 'kidnapping' away from her responsibilities.
Tribulations of Heroism and Villainy: Like all couples, this one has their occasional problems: He complains that her minions keep raiding their fridge and that she can't get mad he's late for a date due to shutting down a missile she had launched, and she's deeply annoyed that some mudslide in Bolivia has gotten in the way of their dinner--again--and promising to put a professional hit out on that new superheroine who keeps scoping out his behind. Even as they play on opposite ends of the hero/villain coin, they manage to have a strong relationship out of the costumes, leading to some very interesting conversations, as well as trying to deal with mook unions, would-be rivals and snooping reporters desperate to unmask one or both of them.
A Glass of Chianti: These two, once friends, became professional enemies, each on the opposite side of the hero/villain coin. But one night, after one particularly heated battle, one invites the other to a momentary detente, an evening dinner. For one evening, both agree to leave their animosity--or really, the animosity of their villain/hero identities--at the door in a mutual ground, to rekindle that old spark.
A Strange Form of Stress Relief: Consider how many superheroes have immense stamina and endurance, or at least a significantly higher level than normal people due to radical training, metahuman powers or otherworldly genes. Some are incredibly brash in combat, going toe-to-toe with powerful enemies because they're a living, breathing sentient tank. Even so, some may get a bit...well, jaded due to that lack of sensation. They can't feel that sharp pain-laced edge that truly has them feeling alive, and thus they take greater and outright unnecessary risks purely for the thrill, or may secretly want to indulge but can't due to their super-heroic personas and the necessity to remain "pure" in the public eye. In their many battles and conflicts, her nemesis could notice this change, piece together this urge for...release, release she needs before innocents are put in mortal danger due to her reckless ways. And admittedly, he is not blind to her sinful beauty; thus, she could have a certain...agreement with this nemesis. She goes easy on him during their hero/villain clashes, he provides an outlet for any kinky impulses she wants to exercise in public but can't due to her reputation in the public eye. It's a mutually beneficial setting for them both: He gets relief, she gets release. (Plus, so as to maintain his "villain cred", he'll have intimate knowledge of the woman behind the heroine, information that could damage her life--both super and normal--irreparably if leaked to the public.) Of course, blackmail would be a last resort, as this partnership will benefit him on multiple levels... However, she need not know that, yes?
