WHO: Drew and Simon WHAT: Christmas gifts and a surprise WHEN: Christmas morning, early WHERE: Their bedroom at Simon's parents' house RATING: Likely High STATUS: In Progress
Drew couldn't sleep. He kept staring at the small rectangular package he'd wrapped (rahter lopsidedly, he would never be a wrapper) and placed on the night stand after Simon had drifted off to sleep the night before. He wasn't entirely sure how Simon would react to his gift but something had been telling him for months that it was something that needed to be done between them. He'd long ago accepted the fact that he'd never get married but it didn't mean that he couldn't show the world that he'd chosen Simon so he'd purchased matching rings for the two of them knowing that it was as close as either of them would get to the kind of committment he felt for Simon. He knew that it was crazy to feel at nineteen that he'd met the love of his life but it didn't change the way he felt. And he knew that there was no way that he wasn't going to spend the rest of his life with the man sleeping next to him.
