Vicki turned to abject hysteria as the clouds of highly concentrated nitrous oxide settled around her face and marched down her delicate throat into her lungs. She could feel the creeping onset of the laughter, like an itch in her throat she couldn't scratch, and her already weakened, frail, starved system fell onto red alert as the stimulus became too much and she burst into hysterical, unstoppable laughter. It felt like hell... Her anxiety was shooting up, her panic through the roof... If something didn't happen to stop her from madly laughing Vicki felt like her heart would burst.
