Posted just after the match 7/7 afternoon
Another win for the Magpies today! A special congratulations to Pip Wildsmith who landed 18 hits, and to Lennox Campbell for his brilliant catch of the snitch. Well done all of you! Thank you to all of you who came out to support us, it was a wonderful match. Good game to the Cannons and better luck next time! Best of luck and a speedy recovery to your two injured players as well!

Unfortunately I won't be around this weekend and so I'll be missing the other matchups. Good luck to all teams involved.

[Magpies]
Congratulations on your win today. It was well earned.

I know that we're all a bit tense about the new protocols, but I'd like for all of you to try to remain calm. It is a gross overreach of power and you're well within your rights to be upset about it all, but just bear in mind that publicly causing trouble with Ministry Officials and members of the BIL is not an effective way to handle your frustrations.

I am taking a few days off seeing as we've won our match and things seem to be relatively calm, I trust you all not to burn anything to the ground while I'm gone. I'll see you Monday.
[Magpies]

[Maud]
I'll be back on Sunday night, most likely and there shouldn't be anything, but if there is please owl me to let me know and I'll come straight back
[Maud]

It was a great match to watch! I am always impressed with how perfectly the Magpies execute their plays.

I hate to get personal. How are things?

Yes, my lot are quite the well oiled machine.

[Matilda]
What exactly are you trying to find out here, Dukelow? My current emotional state, my players'? Or Alicia's? Can we be grown_ups and just ask the questions we want to have answers to?

I told George to leave it alone, entirely to cut his ties and stop making this so difficult for literally everyone, but especially me, and I guess you as well, since we're basically in similar positions.

Look. I understand that covering for Alicia can't be easy for you, currently. But we're not in similar positions. I'm trying to balance the feelings of my soon to be ex-brother-in-law, the sanity of my little sister and the public images of both of them. And I'm grateful that you're continuing to be professional, given your friendship with Patrick, we don't need anyone else butting in this nonsense

He might be your soon to be ex-brother-in-law, but he's also one of my best mates. Marriage isn't the only thing that makes someone family. Your sister falls under two categories - one for me. I can respect that. But hasn't anyone else told them to just stop the nonsense? I have more than one person to worry about on this team.

You cannot just tell someone to stop being in love, Matilda. That's not how it bloody works. I'd suggest sticking to the Quidditch part of this mess and keep out of the rest of it because like I said, there are too many people involved already and no one needs to meddle in it any further.

Love? Seriously? Your sister is slipping out of control and we are focusing on their feelings?

My point, Dukelow, is that you don't get to dictate someone's feelings for them. Certainly not my sister's. I am finished talking about this with you. Stay out of it.

I'll stay out of when when we switch teams. Then you can manage every aspect of her and I can get the hell away from the drama.

Stick to the Quidditch, you'll be fine.
