This is going to sound crazy, and you're going to be so irritated with me for saying it, but I think going out for a run is the best thing you could do. Show them that you're alive. Show them that you're hurt. Show them that you're going to get on with your life and not sit around feeling sorry for yourself. Do that in private. Don't let this live in your head rent free.

She made the mistake. You did not. You were faithful and loyal. You were good, like you always are. Fuck the stupid media.

I don't want to show them that, because I'm not ready for it. It's been less than a day, so I haven't moved on. I know I should get divorce papers and send them to her. I should go back to my house and be prepared to live in it again, but I'm just not ready for it yet. Everybody talking about it isn't helping me come to terms with it, it's making it worse.

You're right. I didn't cheat on her, but it still happened and I still have to deal with the fallout.
