Fans are great, they really are. Seriously, they're the best. Even the young ones, especially the young ones, but when you get them together in a mob - like you'd find getting off the train at 9¾ - they are downright terrifying.

My ears are still ringing from hearing my name shrieked over and over.

Are we talking mostly younger years, or did you have to face off with some love stricken 5ths through 7ths?

They can get violent.
