Previous Entry  Add to memories!  Tell a Friend!  Next Entry
WHO: Angelina & Katie
WHEN: 9ish, couple days after her and Oliver
WHERE: Katie's
WHAT: Ang comes over
RATING: Low, but pg-13 for mature themes

Angelina had been so immersed in practices lately, she hadn't gotten out much at all. She missed her friends, especially the ones who weren't on her team. Ang hoped they wouldn't mind, it was a well known fact she could get pretty caught up in quidditch. She knew Katie and Alicia would quicky forgive her, and realistically that's all that mattered. Angelina had other friends, but Katie and Alicia meant the world to her. Where would a girl be without her best girls beside her? Angelina reckoned she'd be no where.

The urgency in Katie's replies meant little to Angelina. Katie had often gotten into tangles and freaked out. Of course, Angelina had no idea how real, and how serious this one was. Ang wasn't sure what they'd be doing tonight, so she wore dark jeans and a flowy yellow shirt. It was a nice outfit that she could get away going to the bar in, but was also fine for just sitting around. Ang's closest was full of red and yellow, it just didn't feel right wearing other colours.

Reaching Katie's door, Angelina gleefully found it unlocked. Opening in and stepping in, Ang took a deep breath. Her friend's houses always smelt great. "KATE! I brought the rum!" Angelina called and made her way into the kitchen. She wasn't sure where Katie was, but the kitchen held glasses and mix, a good place to start.

"Katie, don't be ridiculous. If you end up married to Oliver, Alicia and I will be with you every step of the way! If that includes half adopting Oliver's kid, then so be it. I already love him, so why not?"

When Katie pulled away, Angelina leaned on the counter. She understood why Katie was so upset, but Ang always knew it was her job to calm her down. Which meant talking her out of this nonsense and into a confident area. When Katie mentioned Oliver, Ang rose an eyebrow. "I'd hope," she said, before realizing what came out. It was a well known fact Oliver had... had his fun years ago.

Chuckling softly, Ang shook her head. "Is that such a bad thing? Look how well you turned out. Kate, if Oliver can take care of Colin, I really don't think you have anything to worry about. Besides, it's not like he asked you to move in, did he?"

"Woah married?" This was getting way too far. "I don't know if I want to get married. This is why shagging Oliver is bad, no matter how things go, if they don't end up with us being married and happy, then Colin gets hurt. I care about Oliver, but-"

Okay, she loved him. Maybe. Did.

"I'm terrified." There. It was out.

"No...he was-he's unsure about this as well. He did ask me for dinner though, so maybe this isn't so bad?" She sighed and poured them both a drink. "If it wasn't for Colin...I would be thrilled and you know it. I've had feeling for him for years, but Colin really puts things in perspective. This can't be something we rush into without thinking about it and I'm worried if we think too much it'll go nowhere. Am I insane?" She was rambling a bit, which usually meant insane.
