Who: Astoria and OTA
Where: Cafe
When: Lunch Time
Rating: TBD
Status: Closed/Incomplete

Astoria smiled as she walked out into the Autumn sun. It was a warm day even though it was the beginning of Autumn. It was good, she decided as the sun beat down onto her face, a good day to have lunch out of the office. Fingering her purse, in her new black leather handbag which was swung over her shoulder, she looked down the row of coffee shops in front of her trying to decide which one to go to. Finally she settled on one about half way down the stretch of them.

Walking up to the counter she ordered a salad sandwhich and orange juice before finding a table in the sun. Grabbing a newspaper on the way she sat down and flipped through it as she started to eat.

Miles saw the blond from a block away over by the coffee shops. He hadn't been looking for anyone in particular, just running errands before returning to the gym. The rest of the evening was anyone's guess although he planned on making the most of his last weekend before the season started.

He smirked as he watched her go in. His agent had always said that publicity was a good thing. His name had to stay hot and fresh, then the extra jobs would roll in. He was right, they had. He had done some modeling and product endorsements and it earned him a sizable bank account along with quidditch. He hadn't had a real job in his life.

Hitting the door to the cafe, he watched her reading the paper and walked up to the table. "Good Afternoon, Ms. Greengrass," he said, not bothering to pretend he was there for other reasons. "Escaping the office today?"

OOC: Sorry, I just thought to check this, I didn't get a notif saying you replied

Astoria, not seeing the person approach her jumped slightly as they spoke. Looking up she saw it was Miles Bletchy, someone she delt with quite often in her line of work. She liked him, he was nice enough even if he mostly used her to advance himself and his career. Astoria didn't mind though, it was her job to make sure that happened and it meant she got to spend a lot of time with people which she loved.

"Afternoon to you too," she said politely. "Please have a seat and yes, it is such a nice day it seemed a shame to stay in."

Miles smiles politely, his usual attitude with the press. He really couldn't help being a publicity hound at times. It did a lot of good for his career and gave him other options to make a few galleons. He also enjoyed the fact that most of the reporters were also beautiful women and he could always flirt.

He took a seat at the table and dropped his bag down by his feet. "It is a good day to be out," he agreed. "What brings you by? I thought you would at least be at the practices, getting all the information on the teams. I know you also said you would interview me. We don't have to do it right now, but we could set the time." That was something he wasn't going to give up and he was shameless when it came to self promotion.

Astoria wasn't all that surprised by his behaviour. It was typical for when people where around her- she would have been surprised he wasn't like that.

"Indeed," she said smiling. "I've been doing paperwork all day, I hoped to get out this afternoon but I doubt I will which is a shame. Always fun to watch the teams in action," she said grinning. "Yes, we definately should. Are you free later today? Or this week? I'm sure I can find a spot whenever suits you," she said smiling at him. She had found a long time ago that acting all coy and cute often helped in her job- plus it came with some added bonuses some of the time which she would never refuse.

"Paperwork?" he asked, making a face. "This is why I could never hold a real job. I just have no tolerance to work at a desk on anything. really though, I am free most evenings or on Sunday if we don't have a practice. I have to have at least one day off." He grinned at the thought. He liked doing interviews. He liked having pictures taken. All of it was a boost to his ego as if he needed one.

"It is rather painful," she said pulling a face. "If I didn't like the job so much I would quit due to the paperwork but unfortunately I can't." She also couldn't hand it off to other people as that might get her out of the job and loose the scopes she got currently. "Evening or Sunday sounds good to me, perhaps an evening might be better so you get your day off?" she asked. Plus if it was in an evening it could lead to other things...

Miles nodded, agreeing that an evening would be better than a Sunday. He liked his Sundays for recovery. He occasionally managed to get a workout in on that day at the gym but nothing was mandatory. "I tell you what, we can go out on Saturday night and you can interview me over dinner. That will give me a good excuse to sleep in on Sunday morning."

"That sounds excellent, I wouldn't want to stop you from having a sleep in," she said laughing brightly. Sleep was always something she enjoyed having a lot of and therefore wouldn't stop others getting it but it also meant that they could have an evening out doing work but it would be fun anyway.
