Just Because

Justin opened the door, his hair messy, wearing nothing but sweatpants. It was after midnight, he’d been asleep and wasn’t expecting anyone. The wind whistled. A few leaves blew over the threshold. Justin squinted blearily.

“Brian?”

Brian leaned heavily on the doorframe. He looked disheveled. If the smell hadn’t confirmed it, his smile, that spooky, loopy one, would have been enough for Justin. He was drunk.

“You drove from Pittsburgh to New York and somehow managed to remain drunk?” Justin was close to screaming at the thought.

“I flew.”

“Why?”

“You’re here.”

Justin laughed and pulled Brian inside. “Good reason.”

	HEY! it's only FIVE words (don't give them any ideas, kthnx) and i wasn't planning on using the words. I wrote all the good parts and was only at 75 so i figured i'd try to fit the words into the 25 I needed to add. and yes, i felt like writing the awwwww today. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

you think i'm kidding. i got to "you're here" without using a single one of the five words. when i realized I still had 25 words left i decided to try to stick them in.

there was no wind, brian's smile wasn't loopy or spooky, it was almost THREE not after midnight, and up... right, justin didn't even think about screaming, he just shook his head or something...

but then i had to fill in 25 more words and thus, all that other atmospheric/descriptive stuff came into play.

	yeah, see i liked the idea that even if he made an impromptu visit to New York, he's still be there before three... i'm weird. and i forget from whom i stole the icon (they're credited thought) but isn't it the cutest thing ever? seriously? sigh, it's almost one... 	I think Twink is a positive influence. in that I'm so busy focusing on his successful integration into the pack that I don't have the time to write more than one drabble a day, so they have to be... you know... seriously, I really do think that post 513 Justin might start as the one putting all the effort into seeing Brian, but I also believe that there would be spontaneous drunken/horny visits from Brian, unannounced and saying, without words, "I love you, I miss you, I need to be inside you."

What I love about them is that Justin would totally understand that.

	Justin could totally say that, in that snarky, disapproving/amused tone that he gets. But of course, Brian took a cab to the airport, stayed drunk through the flight, took a cab to Justin's apartment, (probably with a few bottles stashed in his jacket pocket) and THUS was remained drunk through the entire trip... and really, Justin doesn't mind a bit.
