Show and Tell: Pretty Please with Justin on Top
Happy Friday to us all!

In anticipation of the next batch of porn from this weekend's challenge at bj_action, I decided to peruse past challenges ~~to perv out over~~ for inspiration for the fic I ~~am procrastinating over~~ am busily preparing for your reading pleasure.

Although all the challenges looked enticing, I really liked Theme #12:Without Words.

I like toppy Justin, I think it's really hot when he takes control of the sex, maybe because it's seldom and therefore special.
And even more, I love it when Brian bottoms for Justin. Yeah, when such a dominant beast like Brian gives up control, that is something all right. And the thing is, he doesn't bottom just for anybody... so doing it for Justin, making himself vulnerable like that, is a demonstration of trust and - ultimately - love.

I don't think that he never bottoms or bottomed for anybody else before Justin, I just think that he was always very careful with whom and under which circumstances. Like he wouldn't bottom in public but only in the safety of his loft, with guys like Mr. Goodfuck that he sort of screened beforehand via internet contact. He tries to uphold his reputation but he doesn't deny himself a pleasure that he occasionally enjoys. So he's doing it, right, not only with Justin, but surely not with just anybody either.

Amen. Personally I don't like seeing them with guys other than each other, but this whole idea that Justin's ass is sacred and only Teh Brian can fuck it makes me want to SCREAM.

The idea that Brian only lets Justin fuck him in the ass doesn't offend me in quite the same way, because it's less laden with sex role stereotypes, but on a characterization basis, it's way off.

if you notice, like in 204 brian is talking to lindsay about the "pool boy" that he hired for the new ads, and brian tells linds about pool boys "10 inch dick" well if brian is forever the "fucker" and not the "fuckee" why would he care how big of dick the guy had, and there are other times that brian says this too, so yea he probably bottomed a few times, and brian is now known as the stud of liberty ave, well he could not have started at the top, um erm...wouldnt he have to start at the bottom to get to the top? lol

i also think brian was very discreet where he bottomed, certainly not in the backroom of babylon..

Brian does say he's totally into big dicks, I'm not disputing that. What he says specifically about Pool Boy is that he had a hard time SWALLOWING his dick.

	I have to admit Brian getting fucked is one of my very favourite things. And despite any protestations to the contrary, he clearly enjoys it too if the clip is anything to go by! I must be in the minority as I honestly don't think about it much. I just assume that they both top, but that Brian does it most frequently. Although I noticed one time when Brian got really turned on and silently invited Justin to top after he'd watched Justin at an opening for one of his first shows. Something about watching Justin in his element - all calm, cool, and controlled among the artsy elites - seemed to bring out the bottom in Brian that night ;) (Um. That was just in my own imaginings, not in an actual fic.)

	It's really odd, when this scene first aired it didn't even register to me that Justin topping was that big of a deal. I went away for a couple of days and the whole fandom was going nutty about it after I got back. I love the way Brian allowed Justin to top him but I get the distinct impression it only happened the one time it was in canon because Brian had talked himself into a corner and couldn't back down. When Justin said, "A 'man' knows when to ask for help" he was telling Brian,"Okay, I'll be a man and accept the loan and now you'll let me be the man in bed this one time." I think Brian allowed it to happen only that one time because Justin had him over a barrel, rhetorically, and Brian Kinney is a man of his word. And only because it was Justin did it happen.

There is only one time in the show that BK bottomed for JT. But there are a few occasions hinting his bottoming. First, in early S2, Justin asked him if he wanted it instead of washing his back. In S4, during the pink posse arc, Justin said “tonight is your turn”. And in 513 in the shower, Justin tried to roll him over. I think Brian does bottom for Justin occasionally, of course more often than CowLip wanted to show. In S4 when he talked to Lindsey about xxxx, he pretty much summarized his own experience, “once every decade or so, you don’t reject a stiff …”. I would like to think before Justin, he only did it when he was young, a teenager, and before becoming the stud of Liberty Ave.
About the size preference of BK’s tricks, I agree that most gays are size queens, esp. BK. He made himself a predator. He likes to conquer the tall, dark type, like himself, showing a common trait or stereotype of gays, narcissism?

For me, those little hints also say that it sometimes is left to the imagination what happened afterwards. I like to think of the early S2 episode as an opportunity where it could have happened after the shower. I don't think that Justin topping Brian is such a rare thing really. I mean just do the maths: Justin's ass needs a breaks from time to time...

What I like about Toppy!Justin is that it's less stereotypical and therefore hot. I don't think Brian rolls over only for Justin, nor do I think 214 was their first time vice versa, but I somehow believe that during the times they are together-ish, he would let Justin do it, because he knows that he can trust him not to tell everybody, but to treasure it. Well, I like to think that.
