Swimming Pool
Is that Justin's pool or Daph's? I think it's Justin's, but I see no sign of it at Molly's BBQ. What's the verdict on that?

Also, I can't believe I don't have a Justin or Daphne's pool icon!

	I think it it was covered for the winter at Mollies Birthday party in episode 110. It must of been around the end of Oct early November because there were pumpkins decorating the back yard. I could be wrong though. (Reply to this) (Thread)

Awesome topic! This is something I pondered also while watching the show.

I decided it was Daphne's backyard/pool because at that time Justin spent as much time as possible at Daph's house (away from his parents) and as you pointed out, the Taylor's backyard later during Molly's birthday party looks nothing like the pool area we see in that scene.

I love that scene. Justin awkwardly smoking and Daphne pushing him into the pool. It shouts friendship and youth. When I go back and rewind/rewatch QAF, that scene reminds me how young they both were. Highly intelligent and kinda trying to figure everything out on their own.

Can't wait to read what others think.

	See that's the thing that always made me think it's Justin's. It looks exactly like the backyard and house we see at Molly's birthday, we just don't see the pool. But the camera stays off the side. Trust me, I have paused and looked a gazillion times!!! Same rock steps, same pillars etc. :) (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

I LOVE topics like this because they point out things I never noticed before. We all see different things and attach meanings to them.

	It's funny how we all just assume things like that. I never thought it was anything but Justin's pool...but then again, I can't imagine I ever really thought about it at all. Covering a pool is a weird concept to me too...I wonder if they freeze if you don't? (Reply to this) (Thread)

	I don't know. I guess it would freeze in some places where whole entire lakes freeze! But how does covering it stop that? Scratches head I assumed it was Justin's for a longtime. 	I googled it...Wikipedia says that you have to drain the pipes on in-ground pools in cold places to avoid damage and that they cover them to prevent leaves and other debris from falling in...it also says that covers prevent heat loss in the water, which is DEFINITELY not necessary here. I've also always assumed it was at Justin's house. Funny thing is, I also always assumed that Daphne's parents have more money. Why? Cause they bought her a car. Yeah, I know, but still, we do get to see Daphne's house for a hot second in S2, the "lame-ass party" scene. Wonder whose room they were in?

I also thought that it was a frat house, but why would Daph throw a party at a frat? And she is SO not sorority material. Not that she wouldn't be an asset to any, but she wouldn't be able to deal with the bullshit that goes along with it.

I always assumed it was a sorority house! But you are so right about her not being a sorority girl and we know she doesn't live in a sorority later, so. Yeah, it was her parents. That means Justin had sex in Daphne's parents' house! Possibly Daphne's bed...well, at least that would explain why he was so comfortable telling the people at the door to fuck off.

	I sort of assumed the party scene was at HER house - but that she was renting a house out, as I know some of my friends did near their colleges.
