Ted
I've read two fics in the last couple of days where Justin is introduced to Ted and concludes that Ted is a boring loser.
Watching the series, I never really got the feeling that Justin was judgmental about Ted. Actually, other than being amused by some of Ted's comments and behavior, I never really got the opinion that Justin really assumed anything about Ted.
Now Brian, on the other hand, was always berating Ted. But as we often saw, Brian would swoop down in Rage-esque fashion, and help to save Ted from himself (only after Ted had managed to hit rock bottom). Brian doesn't suffer fools, but he does reward achievement and does support Ted when he has managed to pull himself up by his bootstraps. (wow! how's that for a bunch of metaphors?)
But back to the fic assumption that Justin think's Ted's a bore. The only interaction that I can really think of with Justin and Ted is when they are commenting on Ted's standing order at the Dinner. "...and vanilla pudding."
