Hmmmm. I'm going with sex/sin/garden of eden. Immortality is good, but since the scene was completely sexual, I'm thinking the color of the apple would have been secondary to the apple itself.
Now, again, I'm not saying it meant anything, it truly could have just been a prop that absolutely enhanced the scene.
but okay, given the choice of red or green, then yes, green is better for the eyes and also, sour, like Brian ;)
(And okay, good call on the complimentary colors too... even though I cleaned the image 'clutter' from the background, the poster was red, also, a red apple wouldn't have contrasted as much against the dark grey in the board room)
