Thanks Ellen! It's so great to finally get to know all of these great people who I have admired for so long...Whether they are fic writers or just mainly readers like me, just by virtue of their being here, I feel a commonality with everyone that makes me very warm inside...Like we have a little gift that we have been somehow lucky enough to have been given.

Did you ever see the end of the show special, in which Peter Paige said: "They came for the queer, but stayed for the folk?" I kind of feel like we all "came for the queer" and now we're all here for each other as new folk to help keep the love we found in the original folk alive....(wow....I'm really laying it on think tonight!)
