This is so lovely and moving. I really like the contrast between Brian's tender reflections on the past (and really, this synopsis of where they've been and their journey to where they are now is wonderful!) and the comically grounding task at hand, complete with fiddly bits of hardware and tiny plastic chickens. Thanks for this sweet peek into Brian's inner life :)
(Afterthought: LOL at the hilariously schmoopy lyrics that found their way into Brian's brain. He must have tried so hard to resist. I'm glad he failed to.)
