79. Drabble: Seeing Red
Title: Seeing Red
Author: [info]itwaslovetome
Theme: Colors
Notes: [info]grayskyblue betaed for me. She’s outstanding. Brian’s POV.

This meeting is mind numbing.

Three different versions of one board.

The client honestly taking notes on the symbolism of the color red.

My mind wanders.

Red.

A pool of blood, dark red on the cement.

All over his bright white shirt.

My hands.

The scarf…

The night I stopped wearing it.

Him wearing a red shirt as he clings to me, walking down Liberty Avenue.

The red marks I leave when I bite into his flesh.

His perfect, red mouth.

The red-hot feeling of being inside him.

My now urgent desire to get out of this meeting.

Red.

I love Brian's mind wandering as the client babbles.
This is strong and emotional, and perfect use of the prompt.
Thanks!

I'm glad Brian was able to find some very postive and happy images to associate with the color red.

Excellent use of the theme, especially in the variety of ways red plays in Brian's memories.

I love that, when your Brian's mind wanders, it always wanders to Justin.

Beautiful, very lyrical and wonderful use of the prompt!
