58. Drabble: You Can't Go Home Again
Title: You Can’t Go Home Again
Author: [info]itwaslovetome
Theme: Dwellings/Home
Notes: [info]grayskyblue is a betaing machine. Justin’s POV.

It doesn’t take long for the house to sell. My mom calls to ask me to move my stuff to… wherever.

I don’t have much left there, and in a way, it’s like opening a door to a life I no longer live.

Old sketchbooks. Notes passed and books used in classes I took years ago. Clothes that don’t quite fit anymore. Snapshots of the first day of school, childhood birthday parties, when I learned to ride a bike.

I pack two small boxes and throw the rest away. I don’t look back. I leave this house, and go home.

This totally, totally shows that even though where Justin lived was unsettled for most of the show, he *does* and always will, have a home. Thank you for sharing this drabble.

Thank you for your feedback.
I think that not only does he have a home, as unsettled at he was sometimes, he always knew he did. So many people loved him, after all. :)

Oh this was a little sad and yet filled with love and simply lovely. That house isn't his home anymore.
Thank you, I really enjoyed this.

I leave this house, and go home.

It may have taken Justin a bit of time, but he did find his home with Brian. :)

I think he found a little bit of home in everyone he loved, and who loved him. But especially Brian, obviously.
Thank you for your feedback. :)

This is heartbreaking in a way BUT Justin always had known "who" his home is!

Unfortunately, Justin had to learn early on that he had to make his own home. But fortunately, he was strong and patient enough to do just that. I love this!
