It's a clusterf#ck; what did you think would happen?
I just got news yesterday that a project I'm working on with someone else has to be extended due to circumstances totally beyond my control. ~~And why yes, that does mean someone else fucked me up.~~

Anyway, the upshot is that those of you who wrote me wistfully asking if we'd be extending the deadline for the Clusterfuck Challenge can now smile and sing and dance, because we are. (Those of you who were working hard to meet the original deadline, email me and I'll give you the contact info for the person who screwed me up on this project so you can yell at her. God knows I got a lot of relief out of doing it.)

Submissions will now be due on Sunday, July 12, at NOON Pacific (California) Time; there will be a ten minute grace period.

And apologies, sincerely, to all of you who were working hard to meet the original deadline. I feel really bad about this, but there was just nothing I could do.

	I'm sorry about your project, but this completely saves me. I had a panic attack today trying to figure out how I would get everything done with the new job. I would have managed (maybe) but it wouldn't have been pretty. I really want the time to write the fic I'm thinking of properly and I'm not passed them mental planning stages. (Reply to this)

	Please don't feel bad about extending the deadline. I'm sure most of us appreciate the extra time to fiddle with (perfect) our work. Sorry to hear about your project woes. My boss just moved up a 7 week deadline to 2 weeks, which is why I haven't been around here too much lately. (Reply to this)
