Clarification.
I would like to clarify a statement that was recently made, stating that pairings other than B/J were not welcome at this community.

Recently a post was made asking if it would be possible for pairings other than B/J to be used in future challenges. I responded that canonical pairings have actually always been welcome here. As it states on the user info page, the community has a Brian/Justin focus but other canonical pairings can be used.

The only pairing I don't allow is the non-canonical pairing of Brian/Michael.

I even offered to let the people who made the inquiry guest host a challenge here for pairings other than B/J, but they were not interested.

I would have linked to that discussion, but the journal has been deleted.

So that's that. All canonical pairings have been, and always will be welcome at [info]qaf_challenges.

As a maintainer, my only responsibility is to be clear about the rules on the user info page, and maintain them, and I have always done so, tough as the task sometimes is.

If anyone doesn't understand any of the rules, feel free to ask me for clarification.
