Graphic Number 2: "Kaleidoscope"
Title: Kaleidoscope
Author: fansee
Timeline: Season Four
Rating: PG-13
Warnings, if any: None.
Author's notes: A double drabble.
Graphic: #2 by [info]brianslave68

Men: A gym rat. Or tall and slender. Hotlanta. Or dark curly hair. Five foot four inches of solid muscle. Alleys and backrooms. Eager mouths. Seven inches uncut. Zucchini. Six inches but thick, thick. And a spider-web tattoo on a shoulder. With rope. Two identical faces, one above me, one below. A bobbing head. Underwear parties. Hot hunky moving men. Poppers. Mr. Goodfuck. Six arms, six legs, sucking and fucking in seven permutations. Woody’s and Babylon. Arousals and orgasms.. My place or theirs. One and done. “Coming and going.”

Smooth, pale skin. An infectious grin. Cross-legged and naked. An impish look. A thick terry bathrobe. Blue eyes glittering with tears. “Brian Kinney gives a fuck.” “Save the last dance for me.” The twack of a bat. Pain. Pain and guilt. “I can’t.” A hunched shoulder. The white scarf. A walk on a crowded sidewalk. Angel’s wings. Music. “In ways that I won’t.” $300 tricks. One Eyed Jack. Carnivale. Eye-fucking. Internship. “You’ll be required to work long, hard hours….” Bare shoulders, hot kisses. Jizz on a Stockwell poster. The Feldman Bar Mitzvah. Cushions on the floor. Pink Posse. Caressing stubble. A celebratory glass of champagne. Connection. History. “Coming and staying.” Justin.

a clever travel through time...i can see it all clearly, lots of memories demonstrating the history and emotional development of brian.

the most important to me:

“Coming and staying.” Justin.

but if i had to choose a memory, i'll go with:

“You’ll be required to work long, hard hours…"

great read!

The "ever-changing kaleidoscope of life" in a double drabble. I'm impressed.

This seems deceptively short and simple when you first read it, but the whole idea is executed so perfectly. All those men and in the end all there is is Justin.

My absolute favorite is the use of "coming and going" and "coming and staying." Terrific.

I think this is a wonderful tribute to a neat graphic. Thanks for sharing it.

This is striking and perfect. It's been awhile since I've watched the QaF episodes, but each memory of Brian's pinged in my mind and I remembered. Ping, ping, ping, and between it all was Justin. In the end is Justin. Wonderful.

Well done. Each one of these brought back a memory, some with a smile, so not. But a great walk down memory lane.

This was a really creative interpretation of the graphic and very satisfying to read. When I first read 'one and done', I missed the obvious meaning and thought it was the beginning of Justin: he was the one and Brian was done. I like that too. :)

I really like how you captured Brian and Justin's journey and all of the events that led them to where they are now.

An infectious grin. Cross-legged and naked. An impish look.

Great description of Justin ♥

This was so unique and just wonderful. I love how it progressed from men to Justin, just as the beautiful graphic seems to. They pair really, really well. A truly original story and a lovely trip through some of my favorite memories of them.

Nicely done and quite unique! Wonderful way to compare the rich history of Justin with the endless stream of strangers. This piece works so well with the beautiful graphic!
