BROKEN PROMISES Title: Broken Promises Written By: randysgirl_645 Timeline: Post season 5 Rating: R/NC-17 Warnings: Angst, Justin/Other Summary: No. Never. My heart belongs to Brian, Justin thought. Author's Notes: Enjoy! Thanks to my beta shadownyc Theme: Second Chance
“That was hot.” A voice that wasn’t Brian spoke to Justin who was naked lying on his tiny bed.
“Yeah it was.” Justin’s voice sounded hollow to him somehow, he felt green eyes studying his profile and he turned to look at the other man who was lying next to him naked as well.
“Justin, what’s wrong?”
“Nothing is wrong, Eric,” a lie because everything was wrong.
“You’re thinking about him, aren’t you? Can’t you stop thinking about him at least while I’m fucking you?” Eric accused, his voice thick with bitterness.
“Of course I’m thinking about him! I love him, he’s still my boyfriend!” Justin yelled back.
“So then what am I? Just a fling? An adventure?”
Justin remembered clearly when he had asked Brian so long ago that same question; it was ironic that now it was being said to him. Justin wished right at that moment that he had never gone to that gallery two weeks ago near his apartment because then he wouldn’’t have met Eric and wouldn’t be making the second biggest mistake of his life but he had and he was so sure there was no point in taking back what was transpiring.
“I do like you, Eric,” Justin said.
A sigh, ““But will you ever love me, Justin?”
No. Never. My heart belongs to Brian, Justin thought.
“Eric, I enjoy your company and I like you but I don’t love you.” Justin’s voice was calmer than his feelings would indicate.
“Have you even told him about us? That we’re fucking?” Eric’’s anger showed through.
“No I haven’t, we’ve both been really busy.” He was such a coward, the real reason was that he didn’t know how to tell Brian that once again he had been cheating on him; he never did. That first time he cheated with Ethan, Brian had pushed him off the cliff.
When he had met Eric at that gallery, he had been blown away by his beauty; Eric was tall, dark blond hair, green eyes and he had felt that strong connection. Justin had been feeling lonely, wanting more attention from Brian but wasn’t receiving enough. He sometimes thought he was so greedy so Eric had stepped into the picture, making Justin forget about promises that should never have been broken and here he was, cheating.
“Look Justin, I want to be more than a replacement for him, this isn’t working so I won’t be seeing you anymore,” with that Eric started to get dressed.
Justin knew it was for the best that Eric left but still a part, a selfish part of him wanted him to stay, he enjoyed Eric’s company, his voice, his laughter and he helped fill a void so big Justin thought it might swallow him, for the first time in the 8 months since he had been in New York, he hadn’t felt so lonely with Eric by his side those two weeks. He also knew that he couldn’t continue with this, the guilt was eating him up.
He hated himself every time he had to lie to Brian, that is whenever he had time to call him since he was busy with his latest painting and Brian was busy with Kinnetik, so not much time for phone calls or weekend visits, for being with Eric but he was weak and didn’t know how to tell Brian.
He nodded, “Take care, Eric.”
“You too, Justin,” Eric’s tone was one of sadness but with that he left Justin’s life.
Justin knew what had to be done next. He had been putting it off for too long.
Justin left for Pittsburgh that next day which was a Friday. He hadn’t called Brian or anyone else. He didn’t want them to know something was wrong. He arrived in the late afternoon, he knew Brian was still at work so he decided to go to the loft and wait there.
At the loft, he was comforted with the fact that very little had been changed. He knew that this might be the last time he would ever step into this place that had been his home, and that brought an immeasurable sadness, only to be overwritten by the fear that he might not touch, see, caress, love or be loved by Brian again.
Brian had had a for shit day at work; some asshole in the art department had fucked up a board that Brian was going to present on Monday to their newest client and he had to stay behind and fix it himself. Okay, he had help from Ted and Cynthia, but all he wanted to do was drink and then hit Babylon and fuck his brains out. All of his plans, however, went to shit when he opened the door to the loft around 7 and there on the couch was Justin, curled up sleeping, he had a second of dééjà vu.
He went to the bedroom and changed into more comfortable clothes. He didn’t know how to react to having Justin here, he knew there was something going on but didn’t know what, he suspected something but he knew Justin wouldn’t go there again….
He moved to sit down on the couch after grabbing a couple of beers and taking a swallow of his beer before placing it on the table.
“Sunshine, wake up,” Brian said as he fondled Justin’s dick and balls.
Justin started to wake up when he felt those hands stirring up the familiar pleasure in his dick and balls. Justin let himself enjoy the pleasure for a little bit before he remembered the reason he was here and with that he awoke fully and sat up straight.
Brian raised a brow at Justin’s reaction, “So what brings you to our lovely burgh?” Brian drawled.
“Brian we need to talk.” Justin’s tone was serious.
Oh shit. So there was something wrong, “We do.” Brian stated.
“Brian… shit….I was having an affair.” The truth felt like a fucking knife stabbing at Brian’s heart. This couldn’t be happening; the little fucker had fucking promised!
A long uncomfortable silence fell into place as Brian was processing this information with a mask of indifference firmly in place.
“Brian? Say something.”
Brian got up and went to the kitchen to get something much stronger than a beer because he was going to need it. He grabbed a bottle of scotch, a glass and poured himself a drink.
He returned to the living room and sat down on the opposite side of the couch where Justin was sitting. He couldn’t be near Justin right now.
“What do you want me to say? Congrats?” Sarcasm dripped from Brian’’s voice.
“Please Brian, listen to me,” Justin pleaded.
Brian knew he shouldn’t listen to what Justin had to say, there was no excuse to make up for the betrayal, “Fine, you have 5 minutes to talk,” the anger in Brian’s voice was more than evident.
“Remember my friend Eric?”
Brian snorted, so it was him.
“Yeah it was him,” Justin confirmed, “When I met him 2 weeks ago at the gallery where he was looking at some painting and I bumped into him, I was feeling more lonely than ever. You weren’t answering my calls and I know we were both busy but I fucking needed to hear from you, to know that you missed me.”
“Is that your excuse, Sunshine?” Brian said mockingly.
“I know it’s no excuse but Eric was there when you weren’t.””
“Fuck you, Justin! You fucking promised this shit wouldn’t happen again.” Brian lost his control.
“I know that! Don’t you think I don’t feel remorse, like a shit for lying to you every time I was with him?!”
“Do you love him?” Brian asked. He hated that he felt like he was in a soap opera full of drama.
“No.” Justin was firm about that.
“What happened to standing up for yourself? To having some balls?” Brian asked him harshly.
“Well it’s kind of hard to stand up for myself when you won’t fucking return my calls or my emails. I had to use most of the money I had saved to come here,” Justin shot back.
Brian acknowledged that he had a point but he had felt it best to let Justin concentrate on his art.
“So why are you here?” Brian asked.
“I want you to forgive me.”
“Sorry is bullshit.”
“Not when you mean it and I fucking mean it.”
“Why should I forgive you? How can I know you won’t run back to him?””
“Because we broke up,” Justin admitted.
“Ahhh, what, did he cheat on you?” Brian mocked, referencing the reason why Justin had left Ethan.
“No, he realized that I still loved you so he decided to leave.” Justin explained.
Brian snorted, “So then why tell me? Why not continue to keep the secret?”
“Because I needed to tell you, because I’m tired of feeling guilty and weak, most of all I need you to understand that the only reason I did it was because I was feeling lonely not because I wanted some illusion of what love is.”
Brian sighed, he wanted to take Justin and kiss him roughly, he wanted Justin to experience his anger, his pain, his hurt in a rough fuck, but at the same time he couldn’’t bear to touch Justin right now. He could give a fuck about monogamy but Justin had promised not to cheat; to always be honest about shit and if he felt that Brian was being an asshole to call him on it. He poured more of the whiskey into his glass and gulped it down.
“Justin you need to leave,” Brian spoke quietly.
“What? No, I won’t go until we talk some more.”
“There’s no more to talk about, you cheated, you told me about it and now you get to leave.” Brian’s voice was firm.
“Okay, fine, I’ll leave but I’m not going back to New York until you’ve forgiven me.”
“That could be a while then, you need to go back and be the fucking best artist possible.”
“Then I’ll stay as long as I can.” Justin got up went to the stairs and retrieved his bag before making his way to the door.
“Do you have a place to stay?”
“Yeah I do, I booked a hotel room nearby,” Justin opened the door, turned around towards Brian who was standing near the door; leaned in and kissed him tentatively at first and then harder.
He whispered against Brian’s lips, “I love you.”
After Justin left, Brian got the whiskey bottle and headed to his bed where he proceeded to get shit faced and passed out.
Justin got to his hotel room, exhausted he laid down on the bed. As much as he told himself that he wasn’t going to cry, that tears were for silly faggots, they still ran down his cheeks. He eventually fell asleep.
Next day, Justin decided to visit Daphne and his mom, he didn’t want to go to the diner, however, because he knew that they would blame Brian, like he couldn’’t fuck up on his own. Of course Brian still held some of the blame but most of it was his for not standing up more for himself.
“Justin!” Daphne greeted him as he entered her apartment.
“Hey!” He tried to smile but failed and she noticed immediately.
“Okay what’s going on? You’d think you would have a freshly fucked look on your face instead of an, I just buried my puppy look.”
“You freak,” They settled on the couch.
“You want something to eat?” She asked.
“Do you have ice cream?”
“Okay now I know something is definitely wrong, I have cookie dough, I’ll go get it.”
She brought back the ice cream and two spoons, “Okay, spill.”
“I fucked up Daph,” He said between spoonfuls, “I cheated on Brian.”
Her eyes went wide, “Shit! Justin.”
“I know, I was just feeling lonely. You don’t know how hard it is to make a name for yourself in New York and Eric helped me fill that loneliness.” Justin’s tone was sad.
“How did Brian react?”
He snorted, “Bad, very badly. I still love him, Daph; what am I going to do?””
“I guess stalking is out of the question this time?”
“Yeah.”
“Just give him time, he loves you enough to forgive you,” She told him, “So please, at least tell me that this guy is way cuter than Ethan was.”
He laughed at that, “Yeah he is but I don’t love him.”
“You better not love him! So then are you going back to New York?”
“No, not until he forgives me.”
“Don’t give up; you can stay here if you want in the mean time.” She offered.
“What about your boyfriend?”
“I dumped that asshole a few weeks ago.”
“What did he do?”
“He was way too bossy for my taste.”
“Okay, I’ll stay here. I‘m gonna bring back my suitcase from the hotel after I visit my mom.”
“Okay, are you going to stop by the diner?” Her voice was sympathetic.
“No… I don’t think I can handle going there after what’s happened, and I don’t want to hear Michael whining about how I hurt Brian.”
“You know they’re going to find out sooner or later.”
“I know. I’m gonna go to my mom’s.”
She sighed and hugged him.
“Later,” He said as he made his way out of the apartment.
He caught a bus that took him to the other side of town where his mom’s townhouse was.
“Justin! Honey, what are you doing here?” His mom said as she greeted him at her front door.
“Aren’t you glad to see me?” He teased.
“Don’t be silly, of course I’m glad I just wasn’t expecting to see you.”
“I know but there was something I had to do.” He told her.
“I bet.” She winked at him.
He blushed.
“So do you want some coffee?” She offered him as they both sat down on the couch.
“Sure.”
She came back with coffee and cookies.
“So have you sold anymore paintings?” She knew that in the 8 months he had been in New York he had some art shows with other artists and had sold a couple of paintings.
“Yeah a couple more.” Lately his paintings had been a lot darker. All of his inner turmoil and guilt had been transferred to his art.
“So what’s wrong?” She asked.
He sighed, “I was cheating on Brian.”
“Oh.” Her tone was guarded.
“I know I fucked up badly and I don’t know how to fix it,” He lamented.
“You can only fix it with hard work and time. I’m sure Brian loves you enough to forgive you but trust is harder to build.” She said.
“I know, I just wish I had been stronger and stood up for myself when I felt Brian wasn’t giving me the attention I wanted instead of looking for it with someone else.”
“Well the past can’t be changed Justin, you just have to face the consequences of your actions,” She reprimanded him.
“I know, which is why I’m not going back to New York until we work this out.”
“You always were persistent.” She smiled and he smiled back.
“Well it’s paid off with Brian and it has to pay off again. I love him mom.” He sounded desperate.
“I know and he does too just give him some time honey.”
He helped her clean up and stayed a little bit longer catching up on what was going on with her and Molly’s life. They said goodbye and he headed back to Daphne’’s.
He felt like shit, Brian couldn’t remember when the last time he had been this hung over was and whoever was pounding at the door wasn‘t fucking helping. He grumpily got up, put on some pants and didn’t bother with a shirt.
“What?” He barked as he opened the door and found Michael standing there.
“What happened to you?” Michael asked.
He wasn’’t up to discussing the reason for his latest drinking binge so he asked instead, “What are you doing here? Shouldn’t you be at home with your lovely family?” He asked sarcastically.
“Ben is at the gym and Hunter is with his girlfriend,” Michael said, ““I wanted to ask you if you knew anything about Justin, I was trying to reach him all day at his apartment yesterday to talk to him about the next issue of Rage but no one answered.”
Shit! He went to the kitchen and started the coffee maker. He was going to need a lot of caffeine to get rid of the hang over.
“How the fuck would I know?” Brian said.
“Well you are his boyfriend.”
He resisted the urge to snort at that word. Mikey didn’t know what was going on and it was better that way, this was something between Justin and him.
“That doesn’t mean I check on him every five fucking minutes,” He sneered.
“Is everything okay?” Concern was evident in Michael’s voice.
He rolled his eyes, “I have a bitch of a hang over and I need a shower so if that is all you needed, close the door on your way out.”
“Asshole!” Michael said making his way to the door and leaving.
After Brian drank his cup of coffee, he made his way to the bedroom and stripped before making his way to the shower and letting the water revive him.
He didn’’t let himself think about Justin’s hands caressing his skin all of those times that they had showered together.
He knew he was at fault, as well. He wanted Justin to enjoy his life in New York and had pushed him into someone else’s arms without knowing it.
Later that night, Brian went to Babylon after drinking multiple Jim Beam shots. He led trick after trick to the backroom, hoping to forget Justin’s face, hands, body, but of course that was fucking impossible, everything about him was ingrained in Brian’s brain which only made the hurt worse.
After he had enough of getting his rocks off, he went home.
“I’m sick of seeing you mope, Justin,” Daphne told him.
“I don’t mope.”
She rolled her eyes, “Then what do you call what you’ve been doing for the past two weeks?”
“Reflecting?”
“No! Moping, now come on we’re going out.”
“Where?” He was afraid of the answer.
“Babylon, now go put on some club clothes.”
“Daph…”
“I know, I know but you can’t avoid him forever so now go get dressed.””
He sighed but went to what had become his room for the past couple of weeks and got dressed. He had thankfully packed some club clothes when he had hastily loaded up his suitcase before coming home.
Daph was right he thought, he had to talk to Brian sooner or later again. So he changed into tight blue pants and a sleeveless silver shirt.
Babylon, of course was packed with it being a Saturday night. They made their way to the bar and ordered a couple of cosmos.
Brian had just come out of the backroom and was heading to the bar when he spotted Justin. His first instinct was to go to the dance floor but he’d be damn if he was going to hide in his own damn club so he went to the bar and sat himself somewhat far from Justin and Daphne.
Ted and Emmett had been dancing so they hadn’t noticed Justin until they made their way to the bar. “Look Teddy! It’s Justin! No wonder Michael couldn’t reach him he’s been here the whole time; Brian has been keeping him all to himself.”
“If Brian has been keeping him to himself then why are they sitting so far apart?” Ted said logically.
“To keep us from guessing their little secret.” Emmett used his duh voice.
Ted didn’’t say anything just rolled his eyes and reluctantly followed Emmett to where Justin and Daphne were sitting.
“Sunshine!” Emmett said before hugging him. Brian noticed this and winced, this was going to be a long night.
“Uh, hi Emmett, Ted,” was Justin’s reply.
“So how come you and bad boy over there are sitting so far apart from each other? Is this some new way of keeping the flame burning?” Emmett nodded to where Brian was sitting and Justin looked at Brian who was gazing intensely at him.
“Um.” Justin trailed off.
“It was me. I dragged him away because I wanted some best friend time.” Daphne gave Emmett and Ted her most charming smile.
Emmett seemed convinced but not Ted, but he was wise enough to keep his mouth shut especially if he wanted to conserve his job.
“Well come on then, can’t have you two apart for too long.” Reluctantly they all followed Emmett.
“Well hello Sunshine,” Brian smiled but Justin could tell just how fake it was.
“Hi, Brian.”
“Daphne, you look great this fine night,” Brian’s smile was more real this time.
“Thanks Brian,” She smiled back, “So why don’t you and Justin go dance?”
Both Brian and Justin glared at her but if they were going to keep this pretense up they had to follow through so they went to the dance floor.
When they were both gone she smiled into her Cosmo.
They fell into their old dancing rhythm. Brian followed Justin’s movements and swayed to the dance music booming from the speakers. It had been so long since they danced together. Brian was trying to resist kissing him; rubbing against him instead he devoured him with his eyes. Justin wanted Brian to kiss him, to caress him and to erase this ache in his heart, Justin was so hard from how Brian was looking at him but he knew that Brian wasn’t going to budge. Justin couldn’t resist anymore he gave himself into the impulse to kiss Brian. Brian tried to push him away but the kiss was the match that ignited the fire.
Brian kissed him hard with maddening passion that had been submerged for way too long. Justin responded with the same eagerness, they rubbed against each other, their hands pushed underneath their shirts needy to touch each other’s skin. They continued to dry hump on the dance floor for quite a bit, finally when they thought they wouldn’t last they broke apart, gasping for air.
Justin needed, wanted Brian to fuck him, “Can we go to the loft?”
Brian knew this was a bad idea but he also knew that he wanted, desired, longed to fuck Justin so he only nodded.
Only stopping to quickly say goodbye to their friends, they left the club.
Brian drove them to the loft in silence neither one knowing where to start with the conversation they both knew was pending but for now they would use their bodies to communicate.
At the loft, they stripped their clothes as they kissed and caressed their way to the bedroom. Brian kissed Justin’s neck, bit and soothed the mark with his tongue, he had fucking missed hearing Justin’s moans, him writhing underneath Brian, how hot he was. He moved his way down Justin’s chest leaving hickeys the entire way.
“Brian, fuck me.”
“Patience,” Brian said before he took Justin’s dick into his mouth.
Justin arched his back, he had missed Brian’s mouth on his dick, missed being in this bed, missed feeling such intense pleasure from the one man he loved.
Brian sucked, licked, deep throated and hummed around Justin’s dick until Justin came in his mouth. Brian pulled his lips away from Justin’s dick and moved upwards to kiss Justin on the mouth. The kiss was rough and filled with pent up passion.
“Fuck me, Brian,” Justin panted after the kiss ended.
“Soon,” with that Brian moved downward again, this time he went for Justin’s hole that was opening and closing in need of something inside it. He pushed his tongue inside while Justin spread his legs wider and began fucking himself on Brian’s tongue, it had been such a long time since he had a great rimming, Eric wasn’t into that type of thing. Justin could just come from the feel of Brian’s tongue in his ass, he had done it before. Brian continued to tongue fuck him, he enjoyed the sounds Justin made and how hot he looked fucking himself against Brian’s tongue, his body drenched in sweat and his legs spread as far as they could, it made Brian incredibly hard.
Brian couldn’t endure not being inside Justin any longer so he pulled away and reached to grab a condom. Swiftly he put on the condom and coated it with some lube, but not bothering to put some in Justin’s ass since Brian had already rimmed him. Then Brian pushed inside Justin.
Brian’’s rhythm was hard and punishing; all of the desire, frustration, anger, sadness, passion, love, fear was delivered into the thrusts as he relentlessly pushed in and out of Justin’s ass.
Justin had missed having Brian inside him, nobody could compare to Brian. His legs fell from their position on Brian’s shoulders to Brian’s waist where he crossed his ankles tightly around Brian’s back. He pushed his hips to meet Brian’s thrusts.
Brian began to hit Justin’s prostate and Justin started to touch himself when Brian slapped his hand away, “You’ll come just from the fuck,”” Brian’s voice was pure sex.
Brian slowed down every time they were close to coming, didn’t want to end it just yet but finally his need to come became so overwhelming that he gave in and with one final hard thrust against Justin’s prostate they both came hard.
They lay there, with Brian on top of Justin for a little bit. Brian pulled out of Justin and tossed the condom to the nearby trash can. Brian lay beside Justin, staring at the ceiling and reached for his cigarettes, contemplating what would happen next. Knowing Justin like he did, he was pretty sure that now they would talk about their feelings. He still didn’t like to talk about his feelings but realized that they did need to talk. Shit, he hated talking, for now though he enjoyed feeling Justin next to him and they both slept for a while.
Justin woke the next morning, feeling disoriented and then he remembered that he was at the loft and that he and Brian had fucked. He heard the shower running so he made his way to the bathroom, peed and then entered the shower.
“Why didn’t you wake me?” Justin asked as Brian began to shampoo his hair.
Brian shrugged, “You needed the rest.”
Justin only nodded. They helped clean each other and gave each other blow jobs. Once out of the shower, they dried and dressed themselves, neither saying anything.
Brian started the coffee machine, while Justin found something to eat in the fridge. When they were both seated at the island, Justin was eating bread with coffee and Brian just drank coffee, they finished eating and Justin broke the silence, “We need to talk.”
Brian shuddered but nodded, stood up and moved to the couch. Justin did the same. This time when they sat, as opposed to the last time they talked, they were in much closer proximity to each other.
“I was feeling lonely, Brian, and I know that I made another big mistake but I‘‘m sure we can work it out if we talk,” Justin said.
“You did what you had to do, I get that now.” Brian replied.
“I hurt you.”
Brian shrugged, “That’s life.”
“Brian I need you to answer my calls and reply to my emails, I need to know that you want me, that you need me, that you love me.”
“Fuck! Justin, didn’t we already establish that fact when I told you that after the bombing of Babylon? Didn’t I show you that when we were about to get fucking married? What more do you want?”
“I’m human; sometimes I need to be reminded.”
“Well I’m not about to say it every fucking day, that’s just not me.”
“I don’t expect you to.”
“I expect you not to forget old promises.”
Justin flinched at that, “I guess I was never really good at not breaking rules.””
Brian snorted.
“Brian, can you say that you’ll try?”
Brian sighed, “Yeah I’ll try and you try not to keep anything from me even if you think it’ll be the death of me.”
“I’ll try,” Justin whispered.
Brian nodded and leaned in to kiss Justin. The kiss was tender, forgiving, and full of love.
“By the way, Michael has been trying to reach you. He came by the day after you arrived in town.”
Justin grimaced, he was supposed to talk to Michael that week about Rage but due to the obvious events he hadn’t been able to.
“You don’t think he told Debbie, do you?” Justin asked.
Brian laughed at that, “What do you think?”
Justin slumped his shoulders and sighed, “I guess we should go to the diner.”
“We will, later though; we have some fucking to catch up on first,” Brian smirked.
After they fucked a couple of more times and came hard, they made their way to the diner.
Justin had missed the loudness of the diner. He missed so many things but he knew that one day he would come back. For now though he enjoyed taking in the familiar sight of people demanding their food.
They spotted the gang in their usual booth and made their way over.
“Justin!” Michael spotted him first and got up to hug him.
“Hi Michael,” Justin said.
“Have you been here the whole 2 weeks? I’ve been trying to reach you and Ma almost had a heart attack when I couldn’t reach you.”
“Yeah I’ve been here; I needed some time to be alone.”
“And you?! You told me that you didn’t know where he was,” Michael glared at Brian.
“I didn’t, now can we sit? Theodore, move your ass.”
“Yes boss, hey Justin,” Ted scooted over.
“What do you mean you didn’t?” Michael of course wasn’t going to let it go.
“He really didn’t, Michael.” Justin and Brian exchanged a look that didn’t go unnoticed by Michael.
Anything that Michael was about to say was cut off by Emmett asking about New York.
Glad that the subject was changed, Justin spoke about his life in New York.
“Sunshine!” Debbie screeched when she came by the booth to take their orders.
“What, you’re going to ignore me?” Brian said sarcastically.
“Hello, asshole,” Debbie retorted and then said to Justin, “And you! I thought something bad had happened to you. Don’t ever fucking scare me like that! Where the fuck have you been?”
“I’m sorry I didn’t show up earlier, I just needed some time alone,” Justin replied.
“You’re alone enough in New York as it is, so you don’t get to be alone here, you hear?”
Justin tried not to grimace at that, “Okay.”
“Can we order something?” Brian asked changing the subject.
Debbie let it go, “So what'll it be?”
They ordered their food.
“I have some ideas for the new issue,” Michael said while they waited for their food.
“When can we meet to discuss them?” Justin asked.
“Will Monday work for you?” Michael asked.
“Yeah sure, do you want to meet at the store?”
“Yeah that’ll work.”
Their food arrived, they ate and the conversation went to Emmett talking about the latest gossip and Brian of course making the appropriate sarcastic remarks. All was right with the world again as far as Justin was concerned. After the diner, Brian and Justin stopped by Daphne’s to get Justin’s clothes since Justin was going to spend the rest of the time at the loft until he had to go back to New York.
Monday arrived. While Brian was at Kinnetik, Justin went to Red Cape. Michael and Justin spent most of the morning brainstorming ideas and then Justin started to do some preliminary sketches. Michael asked once again about why Justin had done the disappearing act. Justin only said that Brian and he had had a fight but that everything was fine now. Michael wanted to ask what the fight was about but he had learned to mind his own business when it came to those two.
Justin returned to the loft after he had stopped by the diner and ate lunch. He had some time to waste before Brian would get home so he decided to do some sketches of Brian.
“Drawing my cock again?” Brian startled Justin.
“Shit! You fucking scared me,” Justin hadn’t realized that it was so late.
“Sorry didn’t know I had to announce myself,” Brian said sarcastically as he made his way to the bedroom to change.
“So how was your day, dear?” Justin asked sarcastically.
“Not bad,” Meaning it could have been better.
Justin started kissing the back of Brian’s neck as he followed him to the bedroom, ““I know just the way to improve it.”
Justin lay on his back in the bed, looking at Brian with obvious lust and Brian grew harder by the second.
They both stripped and then Brian pounced on Justin, and kissed him hard.
The fuck was slow and tender, Brian poured all his fucking love into it and Justin responded by pushing his hips into the thrusts. Each time they would be close to coming Brian slowed down before resuming the pace until they needed to come desperately and so he sped up the pace and began to thrust over Justin’s prostate. Justin started to jerk off in time to Brian’s thrusts. They both came almost at the same time. After a few minutes, Brian pulled out, disposed of the condom and got a towel to clean the come off.
They lay there, enjoying each others’ touch and company. They both knew it wouldn’t be long before Justin had to go back to New York.
“So when do you go back?” Brian finally asked while he played with Justin’s hair which had gotten longer, like it was so long ago when Justin was looking for romantic bullshit.
“Next week, I need to finish a painting that I started for a show I’m doing next month.”
“Let me know when so that I can tell Cynthia to leave that day open.”
“So you’ll come?” Justin smiled brightly.
“I always come when I say I’m going to,” Brian said tongue in cheek.
“I know you do,” Justin smiled mischievously.
“You hungry?” Brian asked as he got up from the bed and put on his robe.
“Yeah.”
“Do you want Chinese?”
“That’s fine,” Justin said while he put on a pair of sweat pants and shirt.
Brian ordered the food and while they waited, they watched some TV and made out on the couch.
The food promptly arrived and they ate on the couch careful of course not to spill anything.
After they ate, they fucked on the couch and moved on to the bedroom where they collapsed on the bed.
Brian drove Justin to the airport that next Monday morning and helped them with his suitcases. Debbie had given him a lot of shit to take to New York and so had his mom; Daphne had told him to call her.
Brian and Justin had agreed not to say goodbye only later.
When it was time for Justin to board his flight, they kissed each other not caring what other people thought.
“Remember Sunshine, it’s only time,” Brian kissed him one last time.
Justin nodded, “I’ll call you when I get there.”
“I’ll answer. Now go or you’ll miss the plane,” Brian said. “Later.”
