A passing encounter
Who: Itsuki, Tenshiro
What: Itsuki spots a classmate.
When: The 15th, after class, roughly four hours before the Shadow World mission.
Where: Outdoors, on the open fields surrounding Oozora.
Summer is a strange time of the year where humans get to decide whether to baked in an oven or fry outdoors. Itsuki's choice had been the open, because as long as you'll be sweating it under the burning sun, you may as well enjoy the flowers, the birds, and the toasty air of the afternoon.
He liked the heat, anyway. He'd never been a fan of the cold winters of Hokkaido, even if he'd grown there.
The gardens outside of Oozora were beautiful, in any event. So carefully tended to that, even if Itsuki intended to do some carving - which was entirely biodegradable - he still took a small bag with him to put the scraps and chips away, lest he got caught littering. He'd found himself a nice bench near a tree - in case some shade was needed - and the long, long track that ran circles around the gardens, and there he took out a half-finished piece that he'd been meaning to work on, along with his carving knives of choice. He'd never been a fan of music players, in any case, and as a 'proud' member of glee club he supplied his own tunes, whistling while he made careful incisions into the half-finished piece, carefully discovering the figure he'd already visualized in his head, and which he knew hidden under all that wood.
