With the death of Jennifer Blake – the Darach – and the deconstruction of the Alpha werewolf pack, Scott McCall has once again managed to survive yet another day. Here in Beacon Hills, California, nothing is ever easy and ever since his turning into a werewolf Scott has struggled with the constant dangers that seem to find him despite wanting to live a normal teenage life. Now, due to his status as a “True Alpha”, the dangers that Scott face are more prominent than ever.
Word of his status has gotten around, an Alpha born through his/her will alone something not easily accomplished. Beacon Hills is slowly becoming a playground for the supernatural with other, more powerful creatures circling Beacon County, perhaps with intent to expose themselves to this "True Alpha".
