Anyone still play with Jrock faces? I’ve been struck with a bit of nostalgia of late, remembering the good old days of huge Jrock invisionfree boards with crazy plots and awesome muses. It’s left me with a crazy craving to brush off some old PB’s and go frolick.
I have an old Ruki (The Gazette) muse that I’d love to play around with again. Finding an Aoi muse would make all my old OTP feels go crazy, but I’d be up for almost any Japanese musicians or actors. Back in the day I once had him slashing with a Yamada Takayuki PB, which was total win, so I’m all up for crack pairings.
The Basics:
- Slash only
- Mature RPer preferred. Mid to late twenties (and upwards) would be win as I’m well on my way to throwing a hip… ;)
- Will not play against sugar-happy, whimpy, childlike muses and I don’t expect you to do the same. My Ruki is generally pretty badass; he’s been everything from a gangland spy/assassin working in a brothel, to a yakuza brat, to a snooping investigative journalist, to a mutant with power control issues and more. He’s got a mouth he likes to run, an attitude that stretches taller than his height and an arsenal of devious smirks perfect for winning over even the most heartless of muses.
- He does enjoy playing against that strong, silent, brooding type. He likes to see how long it’ll take him to crack them. So send me your contract killers, gang leaders, harden cops, mercenaries, ruthless lawyers, ‘all work and no play’ businessmen etc.
- Dark themes are love and AU settings are the best. Sordid pasts and jobs of ill repute make me happy.
- Post-apocalyptic is always amazing, as are gang wars, cops and serial killers, brothels, prostitutes and pimps, or twisted afterlife fantasy. I love world building and fully setting a scene for the muses to run around and cause havoc in.
- Other than the above, I would never say no to a more ‘Wine and dine and impress’ RL dating situation. Or a blend; attempting to have a RL in a ruined world could be cool.
- Google docs or journals/threading are my preferred RP platforms. I don’t enjoy RPing through email.

After seeing Passengers I would give my first born for a psl with a Chris Pratt pb, possibly even faux celeb. A lot of sass and antagonism included.
