a) Teen single dad has just transferred to a new school and is trying to fit in and feel normal while balancing his extra responsibilities. Looking for a friend and/or love interest for an awkward high school line full of insecurities, curfews, and the other trials of being a teenager.
b) They met when they hooked up for a one night stand at freshman orientation. They became best friends. In sophomore year, they got an apartment together. Now it's junior year. One has a steady boyfriend. One uses casual sex to avoid dealing with his fear of commitment. They've 'accidentally' hooked up a few times in the past couple years, especially when drunk (because it's totally not cheating if it's your best friend, you're drunk, and your boyfriend never finds out). They know each other inside and out and can finish each other's sentences more often than not. But they're just friends. So Casual Sex has no reason to feel quite so abandoned because of Serious Relationship's serious relationship. And when Casual Sex thinks maybe it's time for him to grow up and find a serious relationship of his own, Serious Relationship has no business being as doubtful (or jealous) as he is.
TL;DR -- best friends and roommates, both are slow to catch on to the idea that they've probably been in love with each other for a long time now. (I'm willing to play either -- maybe slight preference toward playing Casual Sex.)
For either line, please be over 18, literate, and willing to play by email. Very open when it comes to faces (although I have my own favorites that I like to use for my characters, I don't mind who you pick for yours). Not looking for smut heavy lines (especially for line A), but playing out sex scenes is fine. (Any physical intimacy in line A should be with characters 16+, writers 18+, and I'd be looking more to play the fantastic awkwardness of teenagers who don't know what to do with themselves once they get past second base than to be writing sexy wankfodder. Occasional sexy wankfodder is more than welcome in line B so long as it doesn't dominate the line. ^_^)
