Character A is a private investigator sent to find a female con artist who has stolen thousands of dollars from various people in the states. Character B is a battered wife of a rich man. She faked her disappearance after a planned escape from him. She assumed the identity given to her by a man that specializes in such things. For a semi-large some of money she got a new identity, complete with birth certificate, license, and social security number. These just so happen to match those of the woman character A is following. When he follows her to the town she settled in and slowly worms his way into her life he learns that character b is hiding something but its not the thing he thinks it is. What happens when he learns the truth of who she is and she learns why he’s tried to get close. Are his feelings for her real?
I would like to be character B here. Um...everything else is pretty much negotiable. As is what the woman that shares her name has actually done. I guess I could even play A if A was a woman and B had run from an abusive spouse... cause men are abused to you know... or something equally as sad.
