I’ve sort’ve hit a plateau with writing lately, and I want to get out of that atmosphere and find a writer who is willing to dive into the taboo, and more darker types of lines. The line premise would be based on fraternal twins that are the complete opposite of one another. The male character always used to be the more rebellious one as a child, inadvertently getting into trouble (either a nuisance at school, or within the family home), and was always a problematic one to handle. And of course the female character would be the one that was always modest, humble, extremely well-tailored and innocent, being favored by their parents far more. Extensively, she was always immaculate in the light of her twin brother. However, they were always close, despite their extreme personality differences. He would always be immensely overprotective of her, finding that even throughout high school, he was possessive over the boys that she had dated, and even the ones that wished to court her. He was also extremely guarding, protecting her against enemies, even some friends, while he tried sheltering her from any potential harm. Their chemistry and the emotional communion that they shared always bordered on the forbidden, but never spoken about, nor crossed until maybe their college years where their deeply rooted emotions and affections finally surfaced. Maybe an event that had happened, or where they had crossed their sibling and “platonic” boundaries, and stepped into the more physical facets.
I’d like to write the line in the present, after their college years, maybe in their mid to late twenties. I’d obviously love to brainstorm more details with the opposing writer to get a grip of past history, etc. I’d be writing the male role in this, and it’d strictly be threading, only because I’ve noticed I never have enough time to scene on aim. I was thinking of writing Ryan Gosling as the face of the male twin, and maybe Carey Mulligan or even Michelle Williams for the role of the female twin, but I wouldn’t be opposed to ideas or suggestions either. And I’m looking for this to be longterm. Obviously, I do understand that there may be sexual themes to this storyline, and I’m not opposed to that either, but I wouldn’t want the line to austerely be focused on just that. I am looking for someone who can dive more into the darker emotional aspects of the line and to really stem from how these two are probably going through life shifting and traumatic emotional distress from realizing their sentiments for the other.
