Greetings! I'm Misha, and I'm thrilled to be here. I can't wait to get my guy in play. I'll work on that, this evening. I'm at work just now, on my lunch break, and I shouldn't be on IJ, but eh. I'm a renegade and a rule breaker, so here I am.
Harley is a rough and tumble kind of guy. Check his app for all the details of his past. His present is a work in progress, and I'm hoping you guys will help me out with him. He's been in town for a while, has owned the tattoo parlor for a couple years. He's established in the community, through his business, but he's the sort of guy people really don't know much about. Some might say he's kind of shady, I suppose.
He's decidedly bisexual, with a preference to men by a wide margin. He likes to push the limits, both his own and his partners. He's in to fetishes and some kink, which I'd like to explore with him, if possible. First and foremost, though, is character development, and that will come as he's exposed to others in game.
I'm looking forward to it! But alas, I must get back to work. I'll read through everyone else's posts when I get home, and I look forward to playing with everyone!

Hey pplz! It's Erin, the last of the three mods. I know I'm late with this intro, but sue me. I was busy yesterday! Haha.
ANYWHO. I bring you two sexy men, at the moment. I'm thinking about a girl, but we'll have to see. My track record playing girls hasn't been that great! But here we go.
First, Jamie Slone (![[info]](https://www.insanejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif) jamie_slone/pb LJ Burrows Marshall Allman). Jamie is a 21-year-old senior at Brown University, studying Psychology & Criminal Justice. He's a fun-loving kinda guy, who loves practical jokes. He used to be a swimmer, and still does it every so often just for fun, but Michael Phelps is his hero. He'll never admit to having a poster in his closet. Haha, okay ... I made that last part up, but seriously. He thinks the man is amazing, and his dream is to actually meet him. He's dating stillnotkatie, and has been since April/May-ish.
And, second ... Jake Thaxton (jake_thaxton, pb Michael Scofield Wentworth Miller). I didn't realize both my guys were Prison Break pbs, until just now. I'm serious. Hahaha. ANYWHO. Jake's a firefighter who recently got engaged to his girlfriend anniee. He's generally a really happy guy, and major plus? He's fluent in sign language. How cool is that? He's a good guy, who could always use some friends!

My name is Shanna, but most people call me Shae nowadays. :D I have one character, Kaycee here (PB the lurverly Kat Dennings!), so let me tell you a little bit about her!
She's 19 and works two jobs, one as a makeup artist at Sephora in the mall, and the other as a video game junkie/clerk at Fiddlesticks! She's quirky and snarky and a whole lotta fun! She still lives with her dad, whom she is very close to, and she spends most of her time playing World of Warcraft, Rock Band/Guitar Hero, or basically trying to master any new video game that's come out. She's a geek!
Thusfar, she has no connections (even though I'm looking for someone to play her dad *hinthint*) so I'd love to make some for her!

Hi, my name is Kris and I have four characters here:
nursemoran Kyle Moran (26) is a new mother of 3 month old twins, Ava and Noah. She was dating jwest very casually and the second time they slept together, she got knocked up. They started dating a little more seriously and are now an actually couple, though they still live separately, him in a house his parents kinda left for him and her in an apartment because they weren't really ready to move in together. But raising 2 babies in separate places (even though they always stay at each other's place) is kinda hard so yeah. Anyway, she's on maternity leave from the hospital where she's an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner, but she really wants to start working again really soon. So they need a babysitter, if anyone wants a part-time job. Anyway, personality-wise, she's a sarcastic, sometimes witty, feisty woman who is prone to snapping very easily. She is a Yankee fanatic which will make her an outcast in RI, I'm sure. I'd love some friends for her. She prefers hanging out with guys, but I'd love a close girl friend for her. And enemies are fun, too!
tylerwicks Tyler Wicks (26) is married to peytonwicks and they have a 2 year old daughter, Emily. He's an HR rep at the bank and he's a very sweet, lovable geek. He is a complete klutz and is a neurotic father, always worried about babyproofing the house and all of that stuff. He and Peyton went to college together and he fell for her after...not long and all, but the feelings weren't returned for a very long time. Buuuut she came around eventually and they started dating, got married and a few weeks after the honeymoon, Peyton found out she was knocked up. He couldn't be happier in life. But, he does need friends!
anniee Annie Bonner (soon-to-be Thaxton) is a 29 year old Tech professor at Brown. She juuust got the job for the new school year and recently got to RI after working on a resort island for quite a few years. She's engaged to jake_thaxton. Annie's a very maternal woman who is sweet, pretty easy-going and very genuine. Though she can get a little overwhelmed from time to time and is prone to nervous breakdowns. I'd love some friends for her, especially since she's new to town and won't really know anyone. Oh and I'd love some students for her!
Finally I have mrhargraves. Eddie Hargraves is a 28 year old social studies teacher who has lived in Providence his whole life. He's a single dad and got a divorce about 2 years ago. His son is his world and he loves the little brat. Eddie's a cool guy, a very laidback teacher and is a big fan of second chances and all of that good stuff. He's best friends with jwest who he's known since high school. I'd love friends and students for him! Enemies too, of course. And maybe a babysitter for his son!
Anyway, that's that! All of them have way more info in their first entry. I'm excited to start playing and I'd LOVE storylines so hit me at krissy3 or here if you wanna plot!

Hey everyone! My name is Kim and my only kid here (so far, I am working on two more boys as well) is Kathleen Shore. She is 20 years old and in her second year at Brown for visual arts and photography. When she turned 18 she worked at an island resort for a year that her father managed where she met and dated jmurph. Kate broke up with him when she left the island to move to Providence and hasn't seen him since. She is now dating jamie_slone, someone who was originally suppose to be a one night stand until Kate realized that she actually liked the guy. Kate is a little bit too stubborn for her own good. She is also really sarcastic at times, blunt and not as politically correct as she should be sometimes. She sometimes comes off as a bitch, but once you get past that she is a pretty cool chick who is a little too obsessed with music sometimes.
My aim is cold old comfort if you want to plot with Kate, I am up for anything, or have any possible ideas for my two other boys who should be joining the game as soon as I get a chance to finish their applications. :)

Yo'! I'm Kirstin, another one of your friendly neighborhood mods, and I'd just like to say welcome to everyone! :D It's awesome the amount of interest that has been shown in the game already and since y'all are already a part of it, y'all are all mondo amounts of awesome.
And without further ado, here are the lot of kids I bring to Providence!
Delilah Montgomery [dmontgomery/PB Alyson Michalka] Delilah's a twenty year old cashier at Oop! and recently nabbed an tattooing apprenticeship at Eclectic Electric. She's originally from Seattle and spent some time in Chicago before ending up in Providence. She's a fairly friendly girl with a bit of a rough past, one that she doesn't really like to talk about, but she's always willing to make new friends! Delilah is single, though she secretly longs for some sort of companionship. Annnd yeah. That's D.
Nicole "Nic" Hunter[nhunter/PB Rachel Nichols] Nic's a twenty-two year old hair stylist at Aveda Salon, located in Providence Place. She's also an amateur model, getting gigs here and there really just for fun, as Nic doesn't want to make a career out of it. Nic was born and raised in Providence, only leaving for a little over a year to go to school in D.C. She's currently dating jmurph and actually met him at a shoot. She's a sweet girl, always ready to meet new people and make new friends, though she's got a bit of a tomboyish streak in her as well. It comes with being the only daughter in a house full of boys.
Keagan Sexton [ksexton/PB Katee Sackhoff] Keagan's a twenty-eight year old EMT from Las Vegas. She moved to Providence with her boyfriend eric_mccoy after purchasing a house together. It's a big step, sure, but Keagan's sure they're ready for it. As far as personality goes, she's a fire cracker. She's friendly, though spunky, and has a terrible temper when upset. Unfortunately Eric knows of Keagan's wrath. All in all, though, she's nice so long as you don't mind her sarcasm.

I'm here, I'm here. I know you were all waiting for me! Juuuuust kidding. Hey there, I'm Relli- better known as 'Hey You' to most people. I'd say I'm new to the threading world but that'd be a lie. I've been here for a year next month, not that anyone asked...
My only character in the game (so far, since it should be known that I tend to add more randomly as I watch tv and re-fall in love with every male and female on the screen) is Maranda Delouvois here (PB: Amanda Seyfried). She's 23 (24 on Halloween), a first-year grad student at Brown and she bartends over at Finnegan's Wake, so she may know a lot of characters that frequent it. She's basically just trying to get herself settled in Providence, even if she has been here for a while.
I'm almost always on lemelonscooper if you want to plot. I promise, I do bite. It's in my nature.

I guess I'm next on the intro-wagon! I'm Tina, and I've got two characters here.
This here is Peyton Wicks. She's a dance instructor at Provi'dance' and a mommy. Yup! She's married to Tyler (tylerwicks) and she has a two year old little girl named Emily. It's currently Emily's job to drive her parents insane, so Pey is just a little more frazzled than lately. Otherwise, she originally came from Tulsa, Oklahoma, went to school in New York City, and then traveled the world on a Cruise ship and ended up on a resort island, teaching dance the whole way. She got married to Tyler and they moved to Long Island, before Tyler got a better job, which meant that they moved here. They've been here about a year and a half. Pey, personality wise, is just as bubbly and friendly as before - maybe a little calmer, but she's still fun.
Then I have Jay West (jwest), a party boy from South Hampton, New York. Basically, Jay had everything he ever wanted handed to him on a gold platter. He's kind of spoiled, but whatever. He's dating Kyle (nursemoran) and they have two kids together: Noah and Ava. They're adorable three month old twins! They're living seperately but that may change soon!

Hey everyone! My name's Kat, and I'm one of the mods of Providence. I just want to start out by saying that I'm really impressed at the number of really good applications we got this past week! And I want to welcome everyone to the game!
That said, let me introduce you to my characters. First, we have Jason Murphy (this journal, pb Robert Pattinson). Jason's a 24 year old photographer who works at Gunter Studios. He used to work on an island resort, and used to date stillnotkatie there. They broke up shortly after Kate left the island to come to Providence to go to Brown, and Jason went home. He got a good job offer from here, and that's why he moved here. He figures that the town's big enough, that he won't run into Kate. And once his heart heals completely, he'll look her up. Jason is currently dating nhunter.
Second, we have Eric McCoy (eric_mccoy, pb Michael Trucco). Eric's a 31 year old firefighter. He's pretty positive that he's found the love of his life in ksexton, and they've been together for a little over five years. Upon moving here from an island resort, the two of them decided to move in together, and they bought a house. Eric's really laid-back and easygoing ... he's really easy to get along with.
And, third we have Max Grant (mwellgrant, pb Jim Sturgess). Max is a 27 year old artist, who is also in school at Providence University for Graphic Design. Max is very single, he's kind of notorious for one-night-stands. Deep down inside, he doesn't think he'd mind actually dating someone, once he meets the right person. But for right now, he's happy doing his own thing.

Hello everybody, and welcome to Providence!
This is just a quick note to start the game off. First of all, the first thing you should do with all of your characters is head over to the Friends Button and add everyone! It's a quick and easy way to make sure all the current members are on your friends list, so you don't miss anything!
Second, we'd like every player to post a quick hello in the OOC community, just to introduce yourself, and introduce your characters. That gives us all the opportunity to do some plotting and fun stuff! We encourage you to plot with other members, it's what makes games fun!
ALSO - If your application (in your character's journal) is NOT behind a cut, PLEASE put it behind a cut. It makes your friends-list much neater!
There is a contact information post that's friends-locked in the mod journal. It has information on each player such as who they play, and any contact information (AIM, EMAIL). Go ahead and use that information if you'd like to get ahold of one of the players OOC. It's what it's there for. The Mod Contact Post is also in the mod journal, should you need to get ahold of the mods for anything.
