All through time, people are living their lives as normally as possible considering their current conditions, whether it be war or peace in their respective times. They are blissfully unaware of what will come of their futures--or what might not come to pass.
The year is 2010 and people are arriving in an unfamiliar Hogsmeade. The town looks familiar enough for some former Hogwarts students to identify, but for others it has changed drastically and for some it's a pale comparison of what it is to be. These people are arriving from all eras, starting with the beginning of Hogwarts. People are likely to meet their future children and possibly even grandchildren. People are likely to find out what they didn't want to know about their futures.
Then there's the obvious question of how they arrived here. Who caused it and what is their purpose?
The Ministry of Magic is working diligently to find out why these people are here and how to send them back to their own times, but can this be accomplished before time itself is changed?

M · E · R · I · D · I · A · N · P · R · E · P Everybody has potential for success---that is the belief at Meridian Prep---a high school set in a rural Oregon mountainside village that gives struggling students a chance to excel. At Meridian Prep, they understand that there are many different things that can factor into why certain students have fallen through the cracks, not able to gain success in a 'normal' school environment. They're called the 'problem' kids for many reasons---they're always in trouble, no one understands them, they have way too many 'issues' and the list goes on. But behind the label is a young adult with potential and a future to prepare for. Meridian Prep steps in where other public schools have stepped out. They take the challenging cases and give them an environment that is more conducive to their needs. Meridian Prep is a boarding school with a challenging curriculum of academics, group therapy as well as individual, and courses in life skills. With patient teachers and therapists that want to help today's youth become strong, stable individuals, Meridian's students will be given everything they need to become successful, happy, healthy adults. |

 On the 8 is a journal-based community set within the county of San Diego California. The county alone covers over 70 miles of territory including the cities of San Diego, La Jolla, La Mesa, and Chula Vista. Tucked into the sunny and parched southwest corner of Southern California, the city of San Diego is one of the nation's most naturally beautiful metropolitan settings. Founded in 1796, bordering along the Pacific Ocean, San Diego is best known for its beaches and palms, pandas and orcas, sailors and surfers; not to mention some of the world's finest weather. Over the past decades San Diego grew out of its reputation as a slow-paced conservative Navy town, to become one of the states largest and most diverse cities, with over 3 million people calling the place home. With attractions such as Legoland, Balboa Park, the San Diego Zoo, and Sea World nearby the city is great for people who are raising families, while places such as Pacific Beach and the Downtown area are geared towards the college crowd. Overall, the county of San Diego offers many opportunities for anyone looking to settle down there. So without further ado, Welcome to San Diego!
If you're looking for a drama free place to put your characters this is the spot to be. Being that it covers the entire San Diego county there are limitless opportunities for character interactions. We want this have some sort of longevity and we will remain dedicated to the storyline for as long as possible. All played-bys are wanted.
