Welcome to the Astor Ridge apartment building where luxury, decadence, seclusion and madness can all be found, right at the tips of your fingers. Boasting a history littered with murder, suicides, high divorce rates, affairs, and unexplained disappearances, it is safe to say that there are several dark secrets inside the opulent walls of Astor Ridge. From the building's penthouse apartment, high on the twenty-fifth floor, William Astor rules his kingdom with an unseen hand. Fortune - Good and bad - all change not with the winds, but at Astor's discretion. He's watching you see, and he sees everything. Every move, word, and action are his to dissect, and sooner or later, he will take an interest in you.
Pray it's fleeting.
Astor Ridge is an original character game set in the fictional Astor Ridge apartment building on the East Coast of the United States. The game opens on January 1, 2010 and is slowly coming together. Start with a fresh slate! We are looking for any and all original characters you might be able to think up!
*Because of the adult content that will play a major part in this game, the game is rated NC-17 with NO exceptions.

The forest is like a strange dream. Clear in some places, impossibly hazy in others. It’s easy to get lost, to think you’re home... to be nowhere and everywhere at once. Paths weave between clearings and change seemingly of their own accord and sometimes people seem to change or come from entirely different times than they had once before.
It’s enough to drive someone mad.
Once you get in, some are trapped and some seem to flit too and fro from the forest to their homes and back. If you’re lucky, and the forest is accommodating, it might even make itself feel like home. Everything goes. The laws of man and natures hardly ever apply. New people will be stumbled upon and old friends may become hard to find.
You had better mind your step.
| The Forest of Dreamers welcomes players of all ages, from thirteen to a hundred and thirteen, however those under the age of eighteen are subject to a few limitations (no smut/largely adult themes) to protect both them and the community at large. All kinds of characters are welcome, all kinds of storylines so long as it does not violate our few simple rules which can be found here. Extended information on the under eighteen restrictions can be found there.
The current mod strives to be friendly - don't hesitate to ask a question if you have one.
Fandom, Originals and OC’s are all welcome. As are doubles. This is a nexus/dressingroom type RPG and we are pretty easy going so long as everyone tries their best to get along.

A Werewolf RP |
Myths of werewolves, of men that turn into beasts have been around, been the stuff that stories are made of. They're real even with the fear that surround them. The fear hasn’t deterred the population of werewolves from spiking dramatically, reaching the point of overpopulation with the rapid growth in the last century. The numbers have begun to wreck havoc on the communities that were created. Unrest has begun to weasel its way into the world, causing packs that once called themselves friends to vie for more territory for their own and humans to question what those howls are in the night. Those that want peaceful lives stand no chance against the hungry werewolves that will fight for what they want in these wars for territory. As a result many packs have lost homes that they once held dear.
The Colorado Pack has been in tact in Colorado Springs since 1871, and their control on the area has never wavered. The current leader is a kind, yet firm man that has managed to control their territory with a relative ease, and because of this the area has become a safe haven for those packs that lost their homes. Seeing the plight of those with nowhere to go, the leader of the Colorado Pack opened up the pack home to those in need who have been devastated by the territory wars. All packs that have no other options and need time to gather strength and heal are welcomed to come to the pack home in Colorado Springs for help.
But in such a tumultuous time, can so many dispersed packs resist the urge to try and set up their homes in a new area, an area that has been thus far unaffected by the unrest in the community? Can the werewolves continue to hide their existence with whispers of howling in the moonlight and the numerous threats creeping up on them?

An Adventure of Legendary Proportions...
Pokémon, short for ポケットモンスター or Pocket Monsters. These creatures are imbued with the elements of the world around them. They are caught, trained and used in battles for human entertainment. But the wild is where these creatures are born. The wild is where they belong. The wild is where these creatures fight to remain.
But that doesn't mean it's safe, or even tame, compared with being caught. There is darkness lingering out there, older than the world itself, and ancient magic runs deep in the veins of wild Pokémon...
Realm of Light is an active rpg based on the will of wild Pokémon to remain free.
Our stories/characters meet and interact, and face adventures, challenges and enemies in our vast mapped environment.
Realm offers RPers a very active group of creative and friendly players, and any Pokémon species are acceptable for RPing. We are in our eighth year and have become the most active Pokémon RPG in YahooGroups.
