What Happens when you discover The Other Side?
What happens when you close the door and a Magic is released bringing you to The Other Side? What happens if everything is different to what you know? A She-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named? People living who should be dead? Dead people who should have been living?
The Other Side is an alternate universe Harry Potter post DH game. Stranded in an unfamiliar world, the class of '97/'98 come to the realization that there has never been a Lord Voldemort, here. He is more commonly known in this world as just plain old Tom Riddle, right hand man to she-who-must-not-be-named: Bellatrix Lestrange. The world has been run down since in her hands, and now they are stuck living amongst the miserable people already living under her rule.
However, interests peak when they realize that they are accompanied by the Class of '77/'78, including most of their parents. The only problem is, they're just as lost and confused as the rest of them. And, with Bellatrix's henchmen hunting them down and tagging them like animals, what are they supposed to do to get home? Some "Guests", as they name them, choose to try and join her army to save their own tails, whilst others try and plan a means in which to attack. Their theory: they did it once, they can do it again! But will it be successful? With Guests and other civilians dying left and right, they have to make a decision, and quick.

Heritage is a remote community in northwestern Oregon, situated along the shores of Heritage Lake. Millionaire Cleveland Pickens built the Heritage Lake Lodge in 1910 as a hotel and resort for folks who just wanted to get away from the hustle and bustle of the big city. He wanted The Lodge to be an oasis -- a luxury lodging facility in tune with the natural world and with the grandeur of nature as close as the backyard.
The town of Heritage originally sprang up around The Lodge and Heritage Lake as a community to house the resort workers. What started as temporary housing expanded to a permanent town structure by the 1950s. Resort workers married, started families, and had children. The town grew, and though there are many local businesses and schools, the economy of the town still relies greatly on the success of the Heritage Lake Lodge -- because of the jobs it provides and the tourism it brings to the area.

At Salem Academy, there are many ways to tell your future and your fortune. Ritual Magic, one of the staples of the curriculum, educates young witches and wizards in a style of magic that's been in the Americas for centuries. It one of the things that makes Salem stand apart from most other wizarding schools in the world. That and its unique blend of wizard and Muggle societies, accomplished for centuries without Muggle awareness. But even the best Divination students didn't quite see this coming. The wizarding world is about to go through an unexpected and likely unwelcome change: the revelation of its existence to the Muggles. |
