Darkness Rising [11 Aug 2009|01:26am] August, 1978. Voldemort is nearly at his full power and if things keep going his way, he will soon have full control. After spending months fighting the Imperius Curse from Lord Voldemort, Minister of Magic, Millicent Bagnold, has completely broken from the Dark Lord’s control, a result of weeks of deception on her part. Aurors nearly caught Voldemort, but three Aurors were killed in the process and now the weakening Department of Magical Law Enforcement is getting desperate for more man-power. Professor McGonagall’s daughter has been rescued and has been able to identify her captor; Bellatrix Lestrange. Even with his top follower on the run and his failings with the Minister, Voldemort has something else on his side; the Horcruxes. Having successfully created two, both in safe keeping, he searches for his mother’s locket and the cup of Hufflepuff, to create even more. Greyback is turning werewolves secretly and plans to break into the Ministry of Magic, when he’s not stalking Remus Lupin’s fiancée, Dorcas Meadowes. When he finds the Aurors assigned to hunt him down, what will be their fates? Alice Longbottom’s father, responsible for the death of her daughter, has been murdered by Bellatrix Lestrange, but the Ministry only has their eyes set on the Longbottoms and Dumbledore for the culprits. Lucius Malfoy has proposed a business marriage with Narcissa Black and the two powerful families are about to merge, Hogwarts has a new Defense Against the Dark Arts profess; Death Eater, Matthew Johnson, and the new Auror trainees will soon embark on a journey that will potentially lead them all to their deaths. Recuperatio [11 Aug 2009|05:21am] The year is 2005. It’s been seven years since the fall of The Dark Lord Voldemort. One would think that things were back to normal and peaceful. If you think that, then you’re dead wrong. Convicted rapist and murderer, Fenrir Greyback has escaped from Azkaban and has already began to leave a trail of bodies behind him as he works on building a werewolf army, along with being intent on finishing what he started with Hermione Granger back at Malfoy Manor. Poor Crookshanks has already paid the price of his bloodlust. The leading vampire rights activist has been murdered and vampires are ready to expose everyone to the Muggles if the killer isn’t caught and if their demands aren’t met. The Muggle War is affecting Wizards left and right, from soldiers to suicide bombers in London. Harry Potter is still living a reclusive life, still dealing with PTSD from the war. And the Head of the Magical Law Enforcement unit has just been murdered along with the Minister of Magic’s assistant… Someone is hell-bent on killing every single person of importance in the Ministry of Magic. On a non-violent front, Katie Bell is making enemies left and right since dramatically changing the way The Daily Prophet does it stuff, along with raising suspicions with gossip columnists at Witch Weekly, who want nothing but to make everyone out to be someone that they’re not. Edward left Bella in a state of heartbreak and confusion, which only pushed her closer to Jacob Black. Even after learning about Jacob's little secret, Bella found that she couldn't keep herself away from him. He had become her best friend and the source of light in her life, and eventually feelings began to develop between the two of them. Meanwhile, Edward stayed away from Bella as he had promised her, and therefore couldn't see how broken she had been during his absence. It was only after Bella's cliff-diving mistake that her life began to turn upside down again. Rosalie told Edward that Bella had died, which forced him to make an irrational decision to go to Italy and face the Volturi. Alice came to check on Charlie, and instead found Bella alive and well when Jake had taken her to her house. But what if Bella had never gone to Italy? What if Edward returned to Forks the day after Alice came to check up on Chief Swan because he just had to see the truth for himself? And what if the recent murders in Seattle reached Edward's ears once Carlisle found out about them?
