Jersey picked up her phone and grinned around her glass before setting it down. Now that just made it sound almost like a challenge. Though it would be a real bitch trying to clean grease and cheese and sauce off the walls.
She had just pulled the last of the food out of the oven when he came bursting through the door. While the boo didn’t make her jump, the sudden sound of the door slamming open had. “Jackass.” Though she was far from upset.
“Oh, no you don’t.” She reached out a hand to grab one of the baking sheets to play keep away and wasn’t quite close enough but her telekinesis seemed to have gotten the hint when it shot up into the air without her actually trying. “Apparently no you really don’t.” She half-mumbled. What, did these abilities just become sentient or did they just mix really well with some kind of oh my god no or emotionally charged reaction? That she’d have to worry about later. Right now she was settling the tray back onto the counter gently before that split second burst made it clatter right back down spilling food on the floor. That was still the hard part.
“We really did about have food everywhere. If you want, try one of the puff things and let me know if they’re edible or should be tossed out before anyone else puts one anywhere near their mouth. Hadn’t gotten that far yet.” She grabbed the mozzarella sticks out of the microwave and tested to make sure they were still warm before grabbing the meatballs with her other hand to start moving everything to the dining room tables. “And then you can help carry stuff if you want. Or stab at it, Jason. Whatever your prerogative is.” She started for the other room. “By the way,” It took a little more effort to do something behind her back without having a visual on it but the mask was light enough she could slip it up his face, “That looks better.”
