[With Halloween gone, you might be pulled into an illusion of safety. Afterall, there's no reason to be pestered now, no new costumes to be added, no creepy monsters to follow you.

Ah, but one can always be an inconvenience to those in this land. Nothing so terrible this time, depending on your views and past experiences... You're likely to wake up with a set of wings today.

No arm replacement, just a pair of large wings like typical imagery of angels, in a variety of colors and textures fitting the owners. You could freak out, wonder at the fluff of down, or even attempt to fly - and yes, it is possible, although watch out you're not in mid-air by the time this addition ends.]

[[Good ol' fashioned Wings Event! Exactly what it sounds. & don't worry, charas are unlikely to end up splattered in the ground because of this.

EN ESPAÑOL. El clásico post de Alas! Exacto lo que suena. & no se preocupen, los personajes tienen poca chance de terminar aplastados en el suelo por esto.]]

Good. [...] Your balance is off. [He's not trying to be mean, he's just a nerd about these things.]

Oh -- it is? [D:!!!!!] I've read many stories about characters suddenly gaining wings, but I never thought it'd happen to me...! So, I'm a little unsure...

[That's cute. And instead of poking fun at her or anything, he just continues the explanation.]

Even ones as light as those [gestures towards her pretty ribbon wings] will add weight. So you have to lean forward to compensate for it.

I see! That makes sense! [The logic is sound!! Even if her immediate worry is leaning forward TOO much and thus tripping forward and looking silly that way. aldsghasd; she doesn't want to be a bother...]

I never realized how much thought birds must put into how they travel...

[That gets him to smile, because how can he not?]

It'll get easier once you get some practice. Like birds. [Who fly all the time, see.]

[-!!!]

Oh, that's true! Perhaps that's how fish would feel seeing humans walk, yes...?

[PLS.]

Fish...? [I mean, maybe, yes. But that's a funny mental image.]

Yes! Fish must have trouble walking on two feet just like humans might have trouble flying for the first time.

... Although there are birds who can swim. [So clearly they're doing better than everybody else.]
