[With Halloween gone, you might be pulled into an illusion of safety. Afterall, there's no reason to be pestered now, no new costumes to be added, no creepy monsters to follow you.

Ah, but one can always be an inconvenience to those in this land. Nothing so terrible this time, depending on your views and past experiences... You're likely to wake up with a set of wings today.

No arm replacement, just a pair of large wings like typical imagery of angels, in a variety of colors and textures fitting the owners. You could freak out, wonder at the fluff of down, or even attempt to fly - and yes, it is possible, although watch out you're not in mid-air by the time this addition ends.]

[The sight is such a peaceful one, Frieren snoozing away with her eyes blissfully closed without a care, long strands of her hair strewn over the span of Himmel's wings. Really it's the one main part of her that's likely still visible while her face and the rest of her is all burrowed into this feathery situation. Her own wings are an easy contrast to the colorful blue ones given to Himmel: a simple, practical pair of white, not especially majestic yet well suited to her all things considered.

The whole thing was certainly unexpected, but maybe it wouldn't have been so strange if it hadn't woken her up so early this morning. She's just catching up on her missed sleep, okay. If someone happens to look closer on the pair as the morning rolls on, they might notice Frieren be fussy even in this extremely cozy situation - because of course she nearly rolls and almost slips off her designated "pillow" in the process. Do your best with her, Himmel.

Alternatively, it will be late into the day but she will eventually wake up less dead and be easy to spot going on more test flights and observing others try this one. Very curious shenanigans indeed.]

	[He's not as absurd as to expect her to sleep quietly just for this occasion, and this is partially why the wings are working as a cocoon. [All things considered, it does work relatively well for their purposes here, despite her subconscious efforts to be herself as usual while sleeping. Whether she considered that it would happen or not, she's comfortable enough simply leaving it to him to handle and who better than someone that knows her habits already... Just a short nap anyway. Nothing to worry about.

This arrangement is admittedly very much comfortable af for her - so there's just slightly less rolling than he might anticipate, and if she mumbles or does silly things in her sleep, it's with a rather satisfied tone. Pat pat yes nice feathers very soft give her five more minutes with the nice pillow, Fern. Maybe he can even feel to some extent when her fingertips absently brushing over some of the feathers in her unconscious state, or maybe her nose burying further in when a roll lands her face down. Mmmm... is nice.]

	[It's unclear if it's the feathers being sensitive, or just the Frieren effect and something that'd work all the same on any part of him, but he's dying and dead not too long into this nap of hers. [Her answer is to roll over accordingly, tiny nose scrunching up in protest although her body doesn't do much in the way of protesting otherwise- instead now settling in again in this new position with a long sleepy sigh. Maybe it is easier to roll around less from how comfy it is?

Either way it's not enough to rouse her just yet... though the dumb noises she keeps making don't die down. Gehh....]

[Somehow the silly noises are just as bad as the touchy-feely moments from before, making him have to stifle a soft laugh at them.

If she feels nostalgic watching him, he has a similar warm feeling most of the time around her, given that for him those ten years weren't a blink of an eye and all. He's used to her silliness by now, yet it always seems cute to him.]

[He'll get to enjoy the feeling for a nice easy long time into the day, when eventually the sounds on her part are less drifty babbles and instead the more direct short gasp when she starts awake, squinting although the cover he's more or less given her has kept the sun out of her eyes in that moment.

It really feels so nice. She nearly drops back off into sleep for a moment just from the comfort of it alone. Ah- right.]

[It certainly stirs her more awake far sooner than usual nowadays - particularly because it's not like her dreams and floaty memories of their years together have stopped visiting her during naps, so to see him in that way and open her eyes to him beside her, to hearing his voice... Until she remembers.]

... Mmm. [Moves around a little, slow but steady, and mindful now of both their wings, if a little awkwardly. And she got that post-nap hair as expected.]
