Not too long after his talk with Elle, the lights had gone out in his building. Richard wasn't a stupid boy -- he knew that she had been upset and that she had some sort of shocking power. That ... didn't make it too hard to connect the dots. He wanted to make sure she was all right, though, so he'd left his apartment in a hurry and started to scour the floors, stairwells included, for Elle.

He was headed for her building, though - she'd probably been there when the power went out, right? He just wanted to make sure that she wasn't hurt, that she hadn't hurt herself or gotten trapped or something.

"Elle?" He called quietly, glancing out into the next stairwell down.

He'd been on his way downstairs to get a donair from the restaurant down the street that had the really good tabbouleh salad. That's all he'd wanted -- he'd been half-avoiding the rest of the population in the complex quite effectively until now.

Now ... well, he was trapped in the elevator with -- he'd only just stepped in and then it had stalled, so he wasn't exactly sure who he was trapped in the elevator with, but considering the other tenants of the building it was probably someone he knew.

That was unfortunate.

He sighed, checking his pocket for his cell-phone and sending out a quick text.

What: Oops. They're stuck.

When: Tonight
Rating: We'll see

Okay, this wasn't exactly the type of evening she had planned when she had said she didn't want to go out. Just some dinner and then flopping on the couch at home to watch TV; was that so much to ask? Apparently so, and it had Molly in a less-than-happy mood. She'd been heading back upstairs after dinner, and had thought the elevator would be faster than climbing all the stairs. After all, she was eighteen - she could be lazy if she wanted. Pfft, who needed stairs, particularly when she was already sleepy? Unfortunately, clearly someone was trying to tell her that she should have just taken the stairs. The feeling of slight vertigo she'd gotten when she had gotten into the elevator on the first floor hadn't been enough to warn her. Now, though . . . now it was too late, and she was stuck. Scowling to herself, Molly finished posting a post on the boards through her phone before glancing through to her companion in the elevator, the only light at the moment cast by the backlight on her cell phone's screen.

"So . . . uh . . . Hi."
