actum agere!
“Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it.”
History repeats itself
For years after the Second Wizarding War, Hogwarts has been known for its prank wars. Fred Weasley II continued his father’s legacy, eventually initiating an unspoken war between interested individuals, as bystanders watched amused by the entertainment of it all. After all, it was harmless. Sure feelings got hurt and drama happened, but it was all harmless fun. In fact, the Headmaster’s blind eye towards it could only be proof enough that it was merely regular teenage happenings.

To do what has already been done

After a long-winded trial, Gregory Goyle was convicted and sentenced to death for the murder of a Muggle family in Berkshire. His supporters reasoned that there was lack in justice because he had become distraught and mentally incapacitated from the events of the Second Wizarding War. But the fact that the Goyle family had been involved with the Death Eaters alone made most people believe that his conviction was justified - that he was still killing for the sake of pureblood supremacy, even though reports strongly suggested that he was mentally unsound.
A prank gone wrong.

It started with a harmless end of the year prank. A retaliation against feelings that were hurt. But as the students read the bloody letters on the wall, as they tried to sidestep the flooding waters on the hallway, it seemed as though history was about to repeat itself.

“Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it.”

Actum Agere is a next-generation canon-compliant Hogwarts game set in 2022 that explores the possibilities of what could have transpired while Harry Potter’s children were in school - all the while incorporating the events known to us avid readers in a classic ‘history repeats’ itself oriented plot.
