On Saturday, August 22, 2003, a reporter from the Daily Prophet attempted to assassinate King Lucius and succeeded in killing Minister of Magic Robert Greengrass. When his home was searched, a cache of documents and writings implicated a conspiracy by the Minister of Magic and the Crown to surpress muggleborn magic. The Crown denied the allegations, but with muggleborn test scores falling at Hogwarts and increasingly violent protests from muggleborn activists groups, people are beginning to question if the royal family really does have their best interests at heart. That was the night Sirius Black died, the night the Prophecy was destroyed, and the night the Ministry finally admitted that Voldemort had returned. But something else happened that night, something the Ministry never released. Many of the rooms in the Department of Mysteries were damaged, but the Time Turner room was completely destroyed. 1 July 1996. Families have been ripped apart; friends and lovers are missing or dead. And the youngest of those who actually fought in the Final Battle are battered and exhausted and desperately need a chance to rest. Hope for the future helps keep spirits up and without the Chosen One, young Neville is shoved into the spotlight as a valiant war hero. But the reconstruction of Wizarding London is underscored with a widespread thirst for revenge and eventually the Ministry's quick and decisive action isn't enough. It was established for the sons of the Wizarding Elite, during the French Revolution to keep the noble sons save from the lower classes, so they could prosper in the future. Benoit Lycées provides a good environment to keep their students on track in their studies, while still experiencing unique opportunities in extracurricular activities, and developing learning, leadership and problem solving skills important for their future endeavours. The curriculum is more demanding than some of the other Wizard schools, but we have capable staff that are always there to provide the help students with their every need.
