After Harry Potter defeated You-Know-Who, the wizarding world moved on and started rebuilding their lives. And it wasn't long before the peoples lives were focused on the mundane parts of everyday life, and marriages and families started being formed.
Children of these marriages have now come to age, and had grown quite comfortable in their horror-free lives. But without warning, in the year 2030, a terrible disease swept the world, killing off almost the entire muggle population, and taking a few of the wizarding population as well.
Different countries took different approaches to dealing with the disease, and the United Kingdom instated a quarantine while they tried to figure out what to do. The people of Britain were locked up in their houses and places of work for 2 months, and have finally been released.
But not before hearing a terrible ultimatum that shocked the wizarding community. Ten days to find a suitable mate and present him or her to the ministry, or one would be chosen on their behalf.
Who will go along with this madness? Who will come forth with a match, only to have it rejected by the ministry? Who will try to band together and fight against the ministry's regulations?
