"Well, someone killed the cook. How's Mr. Body?" Mr. Green asked, adjusting his glasses nervously.
Paprika gave Light a quick glance. So Mr. Body was already dead and the cook had been discovered. Looking into the study, Paprika saw an arm, more than likely attached to a body, just out of viewing range from where she was standing.
"Still dead." she deadpanned. Wadsworth, much to her confusion, gave an odd half grin and then beckoned for her and Light.
"As the cook is so.. well, fond of her own food, to put it delicately, I wonder if you wouldn't be good enough to help us move her into the study, Professor Plum? Miss Scarlet, if you could investigate the meat locker you discovered her in-"
Paprika arched an eyebrow. "What's there to investigate? It's a locker, you put meat in it."
"Obviously more than one kind." Mrs. White interjected, moving to light a cigarette.
"If I become ill from your innuendo-" Mrs. Peacock began before the scene quickly dissolved into a very heated argument between the two women. Wadsworth, momentarily forgetting about Plum and Scarlett, began trying to diffuse the situation.
...And promptly had a sharp kick delivered between his legs. With a sharp gasp, he collapsed to the ground, his face contorted in pain. Mr. Green and Colonel Mustard both began yelling at Mrs. White, who was denying she had done anything.
Wincing, Paprika moved to stand next to Light. "So. Exploring?" she asked, not bothering to lower her voice. The din was so loud that it hardly mattered.
