Hearing her voice, he headed toward the bedroom he was familiar with and arched a brow at the small mountain of covers that was his girlfriend, he held back a laugh. Smirking though, he shook his head but quickly felt it wash away when she wobbled. He reached to grab her but realized he need not do so when she regained her balance upon standing. Well that was good, maybe a bit of a bad sign for how she was feeling, but at least she was able to wander about.
Not bothering to reply with words he simply nodded at her and glanced to the floor when the aspirin bottle had clattered onto it. Bad sign if that was empty. Luckily for them he’d brought another with him in case she needed it, after all he often got migraines from dealing with a certain annoying ‘roommate’ of his. Retrieving it from his pocket, he lightly tossed it onto the bed, the bottle giving a loud shake of the pills dancing about within its walls as it moved through the air and bounced on her comforter a few times before stopping in its movements.
Noting that she was in the washroom, he spoke mostly to the air but naturally in her general earshot. “I thought we could do something tonight. You know, get you out of bed maybe?” ‘Hop you up on pain meds, perhaps…’ He’d seen that grimace she’d given after all and certainly didn’t envy it.
