She didn't care at all when her pounce caused him to open his eyes--she had expected it, really. However, she hadn't been expecting him to lift her up and twirl her around, and she giggled again as he did so. When her feet touched the ground once more, she leaned up to give him a peck on the tip of his nose, replying, "I'm always happy to see you. Besides..." Trailing off for a moment, she looked down and away from his eyes, fingers plucking at his cloak where her hands still touched him. "If you're not, I should be happy for us both."
But that wasn't what she had asked him to come over for, was it? No, she had asked him over so she could cheer him up, and she was going to do just that. Taking a step back and away from him, she turned this way and that, trying to show him the dress he had gotten her from all angles before simply spinning 360 degrees. "I think it looks good on me.
