Let Elijah go. He can't help you. I'm the one that took Allison. I freaked out when she caught me feeding and I locked her up so she the vervain would run out of her system. Then I was just going to compel her to forget the last few days. It didn't work out that way but Elijah had nothing to do with it. Let him go.

Klaus doesn't care about Elijah. He'll care about me. I'm the mother of his daughter.

And I did this. I'm the one who took her. It was all me. I locked her in a storage unit. I compelled her friend and broke his wrist. I'm not an original so I won't be as hard to hold as Elijah is.

I have a daughter too and if anything like this every happened, I would kill whoever was responsible. Well, that's me. Not Elijah.

It wasn't reasonable. I'm not defending my actions. I'm telling you who's responsible and it's me.

She and her friend caught me feeding. He was only wearing a vervain bracelet so I compelled him easily. I broke his wrist too. I couldn't compel Allison because she's been drinking her vervain. I locked her in a storage unit so that I could erase her memories. I did that.

None of this is going to fix anything. You know that, right? Them having Elijah, you trading yourself in for him. Klaus is going to keep fucking this up, and the hotheads around here will keep leaping every. single. time. Do you really want your kid involved in that war? I want to believe Chris won't lower himself to the level of hurting your daughter, but as someone that lost his parents when I was young - don't do that to your kid.

Doing the right thing by your daughter is being her mother. If Klaus can't be a good father that's on him, but well from what I know about him I can't say I'm shocked.

My statement stands, though. This isn't going to fix anything. If what you said is true, that Klaus doesn't care about Elijah but he'll care if they have you - there's just going to be more bloodshed. Do you really think your daughter will remain out of the picture? This place traps everyone. Trapped and in a never ending war is the most fucked up way to exist. Klaus is not just our problem. He's yours and your daughter's.

I can't be her mother right now. Things are crazy. I know that I can't be a good mother. I can't control my impulses. I trust the person looking after my baby. I know that they'll protect her and raise her right.

Klaus doesn't know they have Elijah. If Klaus knew, you would all be dead already.

And if you think I haven't tried to stand up against Klaus before than you don't know me at all. Do you have any idea what it was like to be pregnant with his daughter in a city that he had torn apart? Do you know how many enemies my daughter inherited just by being his? Klaus is an ancient douchebag but he's still her father. You can't beat him, you can't stop him. You'll never get through him or past him. I have watched better men try and when I say men I mean over a hundred vampires.

And he's a hybrid, you can't hurt him your bite. He heals from that. Just like me.

You can't beat Klaus. Stop trying. What you can do is stop punishing the one decent and honest and good member of this family. So that's what I hope to accomplish by turning myself in. Because I love him and I did this to him and that's not okay.

Most of us agree with you.

If I was in his shoes I don't know what I'd do. I've never been a parent, and he's already lost her once. He's desperate, so I get it. What he's not getting is that he's putting her in even more danger by doing this. I haven't been here that long, so he doesn't know me because we're from different times from our home, but just know that we're doing what we can to keep this from getting even further out of control. Though I know that probably doesn't mean much to you right now - it wouldn't to me.
