Private to Doug
You need to make up with your brother. Make him come home, we can't very well make sure he is safe if he isn't at home. It is clear that T.J. thinks we are pressuring him. We aren't doing him any good if we put him in the middle of our problems, keep asking him about drugs or giving him crap about Sean. I am going to do my best to lay off and I hope you do the same... as hard as it might be. I know how much you love your brother Doug. Let's try to help him together.

I'm doing my best, Mom. He agreed to come back, but this isn't about you and me, though that can't be helping, it's about me and Sean. Never thought I'd be saying this, but he's taking Sean's side. T.J. can be a real sucker, sometimes.

I know you are Doug. I'm glad he decided to come back. He loves him, even though he knows Sean isn't good for him and I think he's trying to resist him it's hard. We can't tell him what to do all we can do is support him. And hope that he doesn't go down the wrong path again

I hate to break it to you, but that isn't love, anymore than he's in love with his coke. Sean's a destructive addiction that he can't break, and supporting him hasn't done him so much good so far, has it?

So what do you suggest Douglas because I don't have anymore answers than that.

You're the politician, Mom. Broker peace, or some shit like that. Buy Sean off? Bribe him, because you and I know he only turns to T.J. because he's alone here, not because he loves him. I'm still for the CIA/FBI assassination option, personally. As long as T.J.'s at home, though, there's less chance for them to hook up. I hope.

Well, but Doug you have the blood of not one but two politicians in your blood. So I would think you could come up with and even more brilliant plan than even your mother could come up with. We could always try talking to Sean but I don't think that will work. And I don't think an assassination will do the trick either son. Sorry.
