Who: Scott, Chris & Elijah with Allison and Isaac later Where: Multnomah Falls. On the Benson Bridge. When: Friday night. 10:15 pm. What: Chris and Scott go to meet Elijah. Allison and Isaac are bad and follow. Status: On going. Warnings: Chris Argent.
Scott knew in the back of his mind that this was probably a bad idea. Going to meet an original, even if Allison trusted him was dangerous. They couldn't be killed, they were able to compel and they had no problem doing whatever it was they wanted. But, Scott didn't voice his doubts because he wanted to believe that this would work. That this was the right way right now. Because the alternative was going to get them all killed. His mind was focused on protecting his pack, protecting Chris and above all, getting Allison her memories back. If Elijah wouldn't or couldn't help, then what? Was that when the alternative took effect? He wasn't sure what was going through Mr. Argent's mind. He was angry and ready to try and take them all out, but that was the thing, they couldn't. Not until they knew everything about them.
At least Derek was going to find out more information on them so they would have somewhat of an upper hand. Even though Allison had lived through her past run ins with the originals, Scott hoped that Bonnie could fill Derek in. Derek seemed to trust her and Scott had to trust that.
The thought of Isaac wanting to following Mr. Argent bothered him. Plus the fact that he went to Derek and asked him to go with him. Scott didn't even know he left that night, he didn't know that Isaac had gone to Derek. Scott telling his pack to stay back and not get involved would only go so far, he knew that. They would do anything to protect the pack, but Scott wanted to protect them. He didn't want Malia or Kira or Liam getting mixed up in this, he especially didn't want Mr. Argent to use them because they would just be casualties. Scott wouldn't allow that. He hoped that if Mr. Argent did ask them to do anything, they would tell him.
And he hoped that Isaac would listen to him and not show up tonight. Scott knew how much he wanted to go after them, but it would be suicide at this point and Scott didn't want to lose him. He was right in asking Isaac what good would he be if he were dead, but Isaac turned it around saying that he didn't want Scott to get his hands dirty. Scott hoped that nobody's hands would get dirty, but emotions were so high right now that anything could happen. He just hoped this would help. Meeting Elijah, talking to him. Reason with him. Allison told Scott that Elijah was one of the good ones, but how good would he be if they were to go after Klaus? That was his brother. Would he choose Allison over Klaus? Scott wasn't so sure.
He met up with Mr. Argent at his house. Isaac and Allison were inside, but he didn't see them. He could sense them though. He didn't go look for them and instead the moment he got there, he and Chris left and headed to the bridge where they were meeting Elijah.
If things were different, Scott would be thinking how awkward this was, but his mind was set on trying to make this go smoothy. He hoped that he could keep Mr. Argent calm, but how could he? That was his daughter. Scott was barely calm but it was nervousness and anger and confusion and he stayed quiet as they headed to the meeting place. Once they were there, they waited for Elijah to show up.
Scott pulled his phone out to kill the time. They were both quiet. "He's here," Scott whispered and turned around, seeing Elijah walked toward them. Scott swapped a look with both of them, his main concern was of course to Mr. Argent. Elijah looked them both over once he was standing in front of them and Scott looked him over. He seemed calm, but maybe there was like some hesitation in his eyes. Scott wasn't sure. This was the first time he's ever seen the original vampire that Allison trusted.
"Where's Allison?" Elijah asked, frowning slightly. "She told me she would be here."
Elijah had already spoken to Allison a few hours before they were to meet. He felt better knowing that she would be there. Perhaps there would be no careless attacks. Elijah wasn't worried however. While he could see the emotions on her father's face, he understood it. She was his daughter. Perhaps if Niklaus would think as though he were a father, he wouldn't resort to such acts such as this. Niklaus could say that he didn't have an obsession with the young hunter, but Elijah felt differently. His need to repeatedly and constantly go back to her was disturbing and his brother had gone entirely too far. Of course, if Hayley hadn't have kidnapped her to begin with, this wouldn't have happened, but he wouldn't bring that up to her. He felt as though Hayley realized that.
"She's not ... she was never coming to this," Scott replied, not sure how the vampire would react to that, but he just kinda looked disappointed.
"I see." Elijah paused. "Niklaus did in fact compel her. He's the only one that can undo it unfortunately, or I would have already."
Scott's face fell slightly. "So what does that mean? Is he going to undo it? She can't stay like this."
Elijah knew that his brother was being stubborn. Actually, he was far past that. Niklaus had refused to reverse the compulsion which Elijah knew would not end well. He didn't expect Allison's friends, especially her father to do nothing. They would retaliate. He was relieved that Hayley had gotten Clara out of that house. If only Hayley had gone with her as well.
