When: Last night (or bendy time whatevs)
What: Scott see's Allison for himself
Status: On going
Warnings: Angst
Ever since Allison had vanished, Scott's life had been a whirlwind. He often checked her room to make sure that she was still in Portland. He had heard that when the wormhole took you, it took everything that was ever any proof that you were here. But day after day, he checked Allison's room and her things were still there. She was still in Portland. And he believed that she was alive. He had a feeling of who was behind it all and the first night when they realized it, Scott, Mr. Argent, Isaac and Jackson were there, checking it all out, but nothing really gave anything away. And it was awkward. Especially between himself and Allison's father, but they didn't talk about it. None of it. What they were doing was for Allison. At least he knew that Mr. Argent didn't hate him and Isaac enough them both away from this.
Scott was worried about Isaac too. Each day that went by, he grew colder and colder and Scott had to find a balance. Because he could have too. He could have just easily switched, but he knew he had to be the balance for Isaac. He had to reassure him, even when it wasn't enough. Because it wasn't enough. Not until they had Allison back. Not until her father could see her again. It would never be enough.
Liam showing up in Portland was a surprise, especially when Scott found out who he was. Scott and Cora found him that night and even talking on the net before that, before he had actually seen the pain that Liam was going through, he cared about him. He felt responsible right away for the kid and when he and Cora found him, it just cemented those feelings. He saw the confusion and pain and fear that was rolling off of Liam. How could he not be afraid? He showed in Portland to an alpha that had no idea who he was. Scott had to make sure he was okay, he had to make Liam feel that his alpha would be there for him and Scott hoped he did. There was so much to do, so much to bring him into. But Scott had to find Allison too.
He didn't feel as torn as he could have been. He knew that Stiles and Kira would look out and hang with Liam. That wasn't a problem, but the spaces in between, the down time, the worrying and wondering and thinking and everything else rolled up into one was starting to get to Scott. That was until he saw Isaac's message. He found her. How? Where?
She can't remember anything.
It was like everything that inside of Scott just ... stopped. But she was back. They had to focus on that and then they'd fix it. That's what they'd do. He talked with Isaac a little bit, and he already knew what Isaac was thinking, but right now, he couldn't say anything against that. But he would. Because they needed a plan. And without one, it was dangerous. He had to make sure that Isaac and especially Mr. Argent didn't go off and do something that would only get them killed. That was the last thing that Allison needed.
Scott was at their house quickly, pushing the door open and letting himself in. His eyes scanned the room and it was empty, but he could hear voices, he could sense her. He could smell her. She smelled ... different. She still smelled like Allison, but Scott noticed a scent that he didn't recognize at all.
Sharing a look with Isaac, he paused for a second because he could see that storm brewing in his boyfriend's eyes. Scott gave him a pleading look, to not do anything right now. That they had to talk. But not right now. They needed to be there for Allison, they needed to fix this. If they went off and did something without thinking it through, there might have been a chance they would lose Allison forever. Scott reached out, touching Isaac's hand and giving it a squeeze before he walked in and finally saw Allison. By the time Scott turned back around, Isaac was gone and he sighed at that, but looked back at Allison.
"Hey."
