Aww. I didn't want this to end. And I love Teddy, and the thought of Snape dealing with any young child. The delicate way you explored Remus's reluctance was believable, even in canon. Snape wasn't insecure, so much as uncertain of Remus's intentions, and it was nice to see that Severus knew what he wanted and was willing to put himself out there to get it. Severus was always braver than Lupin. I also enjoyed the social motivations here, Remus's thought on Andromeda and the reactions of his friends, all very gently addressed, not overly dramatic. And, of course, good old Old Minerva, ever Severus's friend and colleague. Well done!
