Code Geass, Lelouch/Kallen, deception/blindfold - 2/2
Kallen can feel Zero’s lips splitting into a grin under her quivering lips. She realizes her partner is trying to hold back his laughter and this sparks and all to familiar rage inside her. She is trying to savor an intimate moment that to Zero is just an amusing distraction. Anger now fueling her passion, she deepens the kiss pressing her lips against his until their teeth clatter against each other, smothering his mirth and swallowing his laughter.
In an instant the tenor of their kiss has morphed into something else entirely. Now his lips eagerly push and pull on hers, tongues brushing briefly then darting forth desperately to entangle in one another. Somehow one of his hands is digging into the back of her skull holding her head firmly so that it does not shrink from the onslaught and the other is tracing the backs of her thighs under the hem of her shorts. The tightness of her headband becomes too much. She has to see him, has to know who’s making her feel this knotted sensation expanding in her chest because any more and she thinks she will explode.
She tries to free her sight with one swift upward motion but a gloved hand snatches her wrist away and twists it so painfully it brings her to her knees. Bright lights explode across the vision against the black backdrop of Kallen’s eyelids eyes.
“Enough.” This is the harsh voice of command, a voice that demands attention and obedience, all hints of amusement purged. This is the voice of Zero that Kallen knows not the Zero who briefly let his guard down to invite her to share this brief intimacy. No. Not two Zeros but only the former. Zero would never let down his guard in front of a subordinate. He’s been in control the whole time and only giving the illusion of passing it on to her.
Knowing she’s gone way over the line, Kallen’s Japanese upbringing kicks in, as she mutters and apology, straightens and stands so that Zero is not holding her up by her wrist without raising her head. Her back does not fully unfurl until she has turned around, eyes fixing straight ahead as she hastily readjusts her headband. It takes all the self-control she can muster to keep her from fleeing as she opens the door never once glancing back.
